Held copper pipes at about 56 degrees Fahrenheit when ambient temperatures was below freezing. Wire is very stiff and a bit of a wrestling match to make sure it stays in contact with wire. But well worth the effort. Works great!

I fed RV water intake hose into three, 1 inch round, grey pipe insulation tubes. Fed the heater chord through the insulation tubes. I taped the junctions between the insulation tubes. This arrangement kept my water running for my 3 seasons insulated Palomino RV in Fall's slightly below zero temperatures at night.

In our garage, there’s a water pipe to an outside spigot that has frozen and burst twice since we purchased the house. Have been using this device for two months and are now worry free. Wrapped it with insulation tape as instructed. Very happy with this purchase.

This cable was dead on arrival. I purchased a 15 footer as well. I tested the 15’ cable to make sure it worked. It warmed up fairly quickly. It became flexible enough to easily wrap my well pump pipes with the included tape. When I was done wrap I g the pipes with insulation I plugged the cable in. The LED’s on the connector lit up , but it wouldn’t heat up. I wasn’t about to undo all the work I did to get the cable off to return it. Very , very frustrating!!
