These were perfect, I got the wrong size but if I did it would’ve been perfect for my daughter. The light up wheels were definitely an attention grabber. Pretty, fun design and great for kids easy to clean I like how you can remove the inside to wash it separately from the skates

I got these for my 5 year old who has been wanting to skate. They are quite bulky and tedious to put on. They have laces, a velcro strap, and then a plastic strap on top to tighten. There is a push button that can lengthen or shorten them, which is a great feature for growing feet! I just did not care for how bulky they were. They also seemed pretty high. I think for starters who have never skated before and who are not too good at balance, these may be a bit much for them. The wheels seem to spin very easily, which I think for beginners can be scary. I don't know if there is a way to tighten them a bit to give more tension like some do. Overall, they aren't bad. I did not care for the smell of the material inside. It has a fishy smell that was off putting. I wouldn't buy these for beginners, but maybe for older kids who have had some practice.
