  • Great skates!
Size: 4
Great roller skates! The suede boot is very nice. They have lots of ankle support, which I like. Some people may not like how stiff they are in the ankle. I ordered a number size below my street size (I’m a women’s 5, so I ordered a 4) and they fit great. The stock cushions are ROCK hard, so I swapped them out and got new wheels and they ride amazingly. ... show more

  • Beautiful Skates, for me they were true to size.
I ordered a size 9 and I am typically a size 8.5-10 womens with most 9s fitting. I noticed Amazon had this listed as a frequently returned item. I did lots of research on moxi and on skating before I purchased. Skates typically run a size big so you order a size smaller however, I have very wide thick feet so I ordered a 9 for a 9 foot and they fit perfect. Another thing I noticed mentioned when researching these shoes is some people who try them on do not realize there is tissue paper shoved super far down in the bottom of the brand new skate and try it on and can’t get their foot in. This is also important. The ankle support on these is phenomenal, better than any indoor rental skate I’ve ever seen. The wheels are very slick on my hardwood floors it is raining today so I can’t try these out yet and all my skate gear is not here yet. It did come with a skate tool for adjusting however not every box of moxi skates comes with a skate tool and it’s recommended you have one to adjust your wheels and trunks. I also saw some reports that skates from riedell arrived scuffed or used this was absolutely not the case of me ordering these. They smell BRAND NEW look brand new, and had all the packaging provided to unwrap. Can’t wait to take these outside and to the skate rink as I start to learn skating ... show more

  • Don't think, just buy
Size: 7
These are great. Very well made, not surprising. I am a true US-W 7.5 but I size up to 8 with most brands to give my bunion some room. I followed the sizing chart and sized down to a us 7 and they fit perfectly. Snug as they should be but there's plenty of room in the toe box. Great purchase

  • So cute
Size: 7
I got the panthers in a 7 and the Lollys in a 6; I’m a US women’s 7.5-8; vans = 7.5, athletic sneaker = 8, and I ended up keeping the Lollys because they felt softer and more comfortable on my feet, the panthers felt stiff. They both felt like they fit, but the lollys had my toes grazing the end and the panther I could feel a bit of extra space; again, they both felt like my size. Since I kept the Lollys, I ended up stretching the toe bed, they felt snug and my arches would ache after skating. There is basically no insole in the lolly and there wasn’t excess room for a thicker insole since they were already tight. Eventually the Lollys stretched and my feet feel perfect, but I’m still wondering if I kept the panthers would they be better. I’m a beginner, I mean I skated as a kid but it’s been so long I’m basically a newbie at 40, and while the lollys are great, I kind of feel like the stiffer boot with more support would’ve been the best choice and they would’ve had the tiny bit of extra space to get an insole in. I also could tell the height difference between the wheels, the panthers feel more secure being smaller thus closer to the ground. I did notice the weight difference, the panthers being heavier due to their plate and maybe the thicker boot. But I think the heavier plate maybe would’ve made me feel more planted to the ground, so I may repurchase the panthers. Plus leopard is totally my style can you tell. I’m also considering adding the new boardwalk plus that now have the cushion strip part on the back of the ankle. Hope this helps you decide. ... show more

  • Cute but hurt at first.
I have to give an update to this review. I took the time to use a couple of Pairs of thick socks and some breaking in and the skates are wonderful! Be ready to break them in and wear thick socks. I settled on the size 10 and returned the 9. The tongue is thick and has this padding on it but like I said thick socks (a couple of pairs) will do you fine, even after breaking in. Below is my original review…. Original review: I always wanted these skates and ordered a 9&10 to try on both hurt my foot due to the thick padding on the tongue that extends the length of the boot. No matter how I laced and adjusted with my skate socks on it still pressed and caused pain. That’s no good for long or short skate sessions. I’m sad but will have to send them both back. If the tongue was thinner like the Moxi Rainbow Riders I have they would’ve been ok. ... show more

  • Great and beautiful indoor/outdoor skates
Size: 5
I absolutely adore my Moxi Panther Roller Skates! The suede is soft but also incredibly supportive with the rubber tongue, making them comfortable for hours of skating. I love that they're versatile enough for both indoor and outdoor skating. I mostly skate outdoors in my local park, and these skates handle the pavement with ease. They're not only functional but also incredibly stylish. The black suede is sleek and timeless. I'm so happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Hazardous, Defective Skates
Size: 5
Received a defective, potentially dangerous pair of skates and believe Moxi may be selling their "seconds" on Amazon. Invested in these as a birthday gift for myself, (I'm an experienced skater.) They wouldn't roll straight forward and kept pulling my legs and toes inward toward each other, "pigeon-toed." I had to muscle them to try and keep them rolling in a straight line. (The wheels were also very slow.) It was awful, the last thing I expected from Moxi. At first I thought it was the stiffness of the new skates needing to break-in, but after a few agonizing trips around the rink and my ankle, calf muscles in pain from trying to counteract the terrible pull and drag, I realized something was seriously wrong. The rink owner and skate shop manager (they also sell Moxi's) confirmed the front trucks were defective: turned inward, torqued, not aligned. They adjusted and tightened them and to their amazement, the trucks returned to the same misalignment within seconds. They said they were mounted incorrectly and built poorly: "like we see in cheap skates--but a skate this high-end should never have that kind of poor craftsmanship, they should be perfect right out of the box, onto the rink." (Like the ratty rental skates I had to switch into, which skated like a dream for 2 hours, in comparison.) They said they could've injured someone with less skill and experience or who might not catch the defect. They were astounded that a boot with such craftsmanship could have such a sloppy, faulty "junk" build, they shouldn't have passed a quality control check. Said Moxi should replace them. They believe Amazon may be selling Moxi's "seconds"/defective skates. Goes to show, even though they're gorgeous--looks aren't everything. Can't believe Moxi would sell such defective, potentially dangerous skates. There go my birthday skates! Tragic. So disappointed. (Sizing info: I'm a true women's 6.5 and am a size 5 in Moxi's.) ... show more
