My elderly father has late stage Parkinson's which causes his arms and legs to twitch, shake, jerk alot. This causes alot of cleanup needed sometimes when he drops drink containers, or food, etc on the carpet. I was looking for something that would work just like a huge carpet shampoo'er but be small enough to move easily and be able to hit small things quickly without too much fuss or cleaning supplies. I used to have a Bissell SpotBot - where you set it on top of the spot to be cleaned, press a button, and it automatically did its thing. Had it for many years. Worked pretty well, but the area would still be pretty damp when it was done. After I had it while I figured out if I went over the area with the tool after it was done, that would get most of the rest of the liquid up and it would be pretty dry. It started leaking at some point, so I got another one since the first one worked pretty well. Well, the second one started leaking also - after only having it a couple years, a lot sooner than the first one. Decided to try something different after that, and got a Hoover CleanSlate. What a piece of crap that thing was! It worked "ok," but not as well as the Bissell did. And it started leaking also! Was not impressed with it at all. So I started on another search for a spot cleaner and came across this Shark StainStriker here on Amazon. I totally knew about Shark's vacuums, but had no clue they had started making carpet cleaners also! Shark's vacuums have always been fabulous in my experience (I like them better than Dyson!), so I figured I'd give this thing a shot and see what it was like. Holy cow! This is hands down the best spot cleaner I've ever used! Suction power is outstanding. What I saw it suck out of the rug was like nothing I'd ever seen before in any of my previous spot cleaners. There were absolutely zero leaks. Super easy to use. Separate tank with the Oxy Multiplier is pretty cool. Everything comes apart and makes it super easy to clean. Never had another spot cleaner that was as easy to clean as this one! Love the hose cleaning tool so dirty water doesn't sit in the hose and get super nasty. I want to start off by saying this little machine works wonders. The suction, the ease of use, the design…all amazing. But it broke within 30 days of me having it. The hose has a hole in it right where it connects to the attachment. I’m going to order a replacement and hope this was just a fluke!

This is a compact steam cleaner. It comes with 3 different heads for different types of stains. The cord and the hose are a very nice length. Heats up in no time at all. The results are amazing. You just have to get used to how hard you spray the area you need to clean because too much if you sprsy too much on one area, it will take longer for it to dry. This thing exceeded my expectations. It comes with three different heads. One small, large and one for pet messes that has its own tank attached to it. Each head has a bristle side and another side. (As pictured). It has three tanks. (Not including the tank that is on one of the heads) The two you need to fill are super easy to fill. And to clean it, it's even easier to clean. Except for the hose. Even the head attachments can be taken apart to clean. I just used this on my light colored carpet. It took out the dog hair that I didn't even know was there. The formula smells good. I've never owned a shark before but I won't ever go back to the other brand that I've been using for years. ... show more

Search no more, this is the product that you have been looking for This allows us to clean the couches, ottomans, beds, rugs, and basically anything else you can think of This cleans up stains that we havent been able to get out otherwise Even though it uses water to clean, it does not leave the surfaces soaking wet. Of course the cleaned area will be slightly damp, but it doesnt need more than an hour to completely dry This product is lightweight on its own, once you add water it gets a little heavy but still very manageable. Overall very pleased with this product and its price is well worth it ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My spouse and I have a full house. 2 cats, 2 dogs, 4 rowdy boys. We needed something portable and works pretty well for messes and spills. I looked into the other 2 name brands, (rhymes with Missle and Mover) but the reviews kept saying they leaked dirty water. I didn’t want more of a mess than I was already putting time & effort into. So I looked for another good brand, and since we have 4vacuums, 2 Dyson and 2 Shark. I thought let’s give this one a try! I uploaded a video of stains from my @mini_eskie pup & another from my oldest son’s room. Who knows what teenage boys spill. It seemed to do the trick on the puppy poo stain on the rug! So I guess I’ll recommend it. For tough stains you’ll need a couple passes. Rinse, repeat type thing. The water was filthy and the filter had debris in it. It’s actually really simple to use. Fill one take with water and then top it off with cleaner. Then fill the other small tank with the other cleaner. It all comes apart too!
