Updated Review: 5 Stars Initially, I rated the Shark 3-in-1 Max Air Purifier, Heater & Fan 3 stars because the air quality sensors weren’t working properly—they always indicated 100% clean. However, I work in an old building where employees wear dirty boots and stir up dust, so I knew the air wasn’t always perfect. Recently, the sensors started working correctly. In the mornings, they indicate air quality in the 90s and gradually improve to 100. When a coworker burned their food, the air quality dropped to the 70s and took about two hours to return to 100. I love this device! It makes my office more comfortable by constantly circulating the air, whether it’s hot or cool. The heater is very quiet and keeps my office cozy. I also love the timer feature as I can set it for 9 hours when I arrive and don’t have to worry about shutting it off. When I hear it shut down, I know it’s close to my time to start shutting down as well. Wish I would have ordered another one for home. The price has significantly increased.

I have several MedifyAir air purifiers that I like but I wanted one that had a heat option because my other purifiers kick out cool air and as a result I rarely use them during winter months. With this unit you can just clean the air, or activate the heater as it cleans, or activate the fan as it cleans. Having clean air that can heat or cool your room is next level. In addition, both the fan and heater work VERY well. With some air purifiers you really don't know how well they're working but with this unit you know because the numeric readout tell you the cleanliness of your air. It's so sensitive it even detects when I open the house or garage door. And it REALLY works it's magic when you fry food. It's so quiet I wasn't even sure it was cleaning in Auto Mode but it was and as the air got worse it increased the air intake speed until the air was good, then it lowered the air intake speed. All the available settings, such as the ability to adjust temperature, available oscillation, LED light function, etc... are an added bonus. If you're thinking about this unit you will not be disappointed. One word of caution, it is big. It may not be the best choice if you have limited available space. I love Shark products and in my opinion they did VERY well with this product. We LOVE it!

I purchased this for a discounted, albeit still expensive price on cyber-Monday. I was dismayed that the interior box was significantly damaged and was worried the unit was also going to be damaged, but it appeared to be fine. I called the company (Shark) to ask if I should return it and to ask if an instruction manual was supposed to be included since one was not in the beat-up box. I could not get anyone on the phone, and no one returned my request for a call-back. For as much as consumers pay for this product, customer service should be better. Now on to the unit itself. I love it. Prior to receiving this, I had an air purifier, tower fan, and space heater all set up in my room (1950s home), not very efficient. The all-in-one design was very appealing. I've now had a chance to use all the features, fan, heat, and air purifier; they work extremely well. The fan puts out cool air, the heat has been a godsend in the recent cold temps, and air purification has helped with allergies. The unit is quiet even at the higher settings, the remote feature is a plus and comes in handy when needing to make adjustments in the middle of the night. You can adjust the brightness of the displays which is also a plus. The drawbacks...there has been a persistent plastic smell with the heat running. It has improved, but I still smell it when I turn on the unit. Am I doing something wrong?? Idk because we don't have a manual. Also, sometimes on just the air purification setting, there is a higher pitched whistle noise, this doesn't seem to happen while the fan and heat are on or maybe those sounds drown out the whistle sound. Besides these issues and the aforementioned issues with customer service, I am very pleased with this product thus far. If the price drops again, I may purchase the smaller unit for our sunroom.
