I read a lot of great reviews, but I also read numerous ones where the product simply quit working. I was heartened to purchase the device, because the manufacture contacted people whose coffee maker has simply quit working and REPLACED IT after reading a follow up review! I quit using the coffee ground basket because my home is on a septic system and one is able to tap out so many coffee grounds from the basket and then it has to be rinsed under running water with the inevitable grounds going down the drain. Otherwise, it worked quite well. I got 6 or 7 years of service out of my Krups 10-cup coffee maker and I am hoping for at least that many with the Shardor. ... show more

This is the second Shardor coffee maker I’ve owned. Shardor doesn’t have the same brand recognition as some of the other major coffee maker brands, but this is a fantastic machine. Easy to operate and clean, it makes flavorful, coffee at a great temperature.

Worked fine for awhile, but after 9 months, it simply stopped working one day. The LED display is still on, but it no longer pumps water through the dripper. EDIT: Added 2 stars as a refund was issued quickly and without question
