I ordered this SHAPELLX waste trainer in a size medium. For reference, I am a 5'5" and about 133 pounds. When I first took it out of the package and tried to put it on, I honestly thought there was no way it was going to fit. It looked very small. Once I actually started putting it on correctly, it made a big difference. The key is attaching the top hook first and then working your way up from the bottom to secure all of the eyelets. After that, you just zip it up. The zipper felt smooth and sturdy, not flimsy or cheap. The entire garment feels very well-made and structured, especially with the steel boning throughout that helps prevent rolling and gives that upright support. Once I had it fully on, I was surprised by how comfortable it felt. It definitely provides good compression and shaping, but it did not feel suffocating. The fabric is soft and flexible and did not feel hot or overly restrictive like other waist trainers I own. The material has more of a smooth, athletic like feel and lays nicely under clothing. It immediately gave me a more defined hourglass shape and smoothed everything out through the waist and lower tummy area. I also noticed it helped my posture because of the structured support in the back. It does come up fairly high in the back, almost like a tank top, so this works best under outfits that do not show your upper back. I paired it with a stretchy long sleeve top and it looked great. There is no built-in padding in the bust area, so you can wear your own bra underneath or use silicone covers if you prefer. I actually like that it does not add extra bulk. Another thing I appreciate is that you can pull your jeans right up over it and it stays comfortable. It did not dig in or roll down while I was moving around. Overall, I think this is a good value for the quality and confidence boost it gives. It feels thoughtfully constructed, supportive without being unbearable, and it genuinely enhances your shape under clothing. If you are between sizes, it may look intimidating at first, but once you get it fastened properly, it does exactly what it claims to do.

SHAPELLX Waist Trainer Corset Cincher Top Shapewear, Black, XL: : I’m 5’2” 165lbs, 34” Waist, 40” Hip, Overbust 42”, Underbust 37”, 40/42 C or XL/XXL in bras I typically wear a M/L in tops and M or 8/10 in pants. I’m wider on top and smaller on the bottom. This XL was initially hard to hook, but the more I wear it, the better it fits. The shoulder straps are also adjustable. At first, I thought it was too snug, but after wearing it for hours and then trying it on again, it somehow became more comfortable. I can’t even begin to explain how well this corset provides a full bust lift and takes at least 1” off my waist. It gives me the hourglass shape I’ve never had. I couldn’t stop looking in the mirror because I’ve NEVER seen myself with a waist like this before. This is definitely a quality corset. There are not a million hooks, which makes getting into much easier. The zipper is smooth and works like a little miracle worker. There is also a little bra hook in front. I am very IMPRESSED with how well this makes me look and feel, so I did what anyone would do…immediately ordered another one in a larger size, XXL. I wanted to see if sizing up would provide even more comfort but still offer the same cinched waist. The XXL does bring in my waist, but not as tightly as the XL. The XXL is also too long in the front, coming all the way to my crotch with a tendency to flip up while sitting. The XXL bust fits much better, but I’ve decided to stick with the XL. This corset also helps with my posture. Sitting down is doable, but I can feel it. It can become a little uncomfortable when sitting for extended periods, especially if this isn’t your norm. This is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST waist cincher corset I’ve ever worn. I love that I don’t have to worry about a bra. If you carry a lot of belly fat, I did notice that the fat can be pushed up into the bust, so you may need to do some adjusting to prevent the double under boob. I also thought that my belly would pop out of the bottom, but it doesn’t. The XL provides enough front coverage to my lower belly since I’m smaller in the hips. If you carry more weight in your lower belly or hips, you might need bottom shapewear to prevent bulges. Overall, all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW. Definitely recommend! I truly believe this corset is a win!
