Clamping strength was good and the same as my craftmans. Actually really couldn't tell the difference in quality between the two. Time will test it's durability. Hello, I just received these pliers today and I have had a chance to check them out. The small needle nose bent trying to remove a small screw in my screen door. I was able to remove it with a flat head screwdriver after cutting a slot in to it. Update: They are switching out the damaged item. This is a nice complete set of clamping viise grips. It will come in handy for smaller projects since the biggest opening is only 2 1/4 inches. Overall, I would recommend to purchase.
