I don't like shorts that are too thin, and I don't like shorts that are too heavy. I don't like shorts that are too tight. I don't like shorts without side pockets. To find a pair of shorts that fits just right is pretty rare, if just shopping around at big box retailers. These shorts, however, are pretty much perfect. The elastic waistband is great and comfortable. I can just put them on and go anywhere without needing a belt. The shorts are light weight and the pockets are super deep and roomy. They were a little too big before washing, but after the first wash they shrunk up just enough that they are excellent. My only gripe is that there is no fly on the shorts, so I have to go over the fence instead of through the gate while doing my business. ... show more

This is what I call atypical off-shore manufacturing, that being they really have no idea how to cut clothes in sizes correctly. So these shorts have the proper length of a 5X short, however the seat/thigh area is no bigger than their 3X, how do I know? I received 2 pairs by accident and aside length, the 3x shorts seat/waist area is the same as the 5X, They're nice shorts, its a shame they're cut like total crap. I'm a moose sized guy 6' 3", 375lbs, I can put the 3X shorts on, they just don't pass my knee, aside that same fit. Really disappointed, kinda stuck with them as they sat for a minute before wearing.
