I bought this to shield the sight of the neighbors dog that bark incessantly when my 2 are in the yard. Mine are trained and while I let them bark as they need to, they don’t do it unnecessarily. They also listen which the neighbors dog does not to her family. On command I pull mine back because no one wants to hear a dog constantly bark for nothing. The mesh was super easy to install. The grommets are trash and very low quality. I had to replace one with one of mine because it fell out. These grommets are ultra thin. Our fence isn’t a “regulation” height as it’s old and is lower than the 3.8 or actual 4’ height that are constructed now. No problem, I just wrapped it over the fence on top of 2” pvc cut pieces ripped to cup the top. I did this at the grommet locations to stretch the fabric over and not get torn by the chain link fence. As soon as I put it up I could see directly through. The next test was the dogs for which I purchased this mesh. It didn’t phase them they did the usual barking at one another. Not the deterrent I had hoped for. Sending it back since it did not serve the intended purpose other than hiding the unkempt neighbors yard.

We live alongside a state highway & I really wanted to find a way to make the yard more private. This certainly did just that and it even made the ugliest corner of our yard look nice and tidy. The edges are finished and the grommets are heavy duty. It is opaque but because its woven, air can still pass through it somewhat. Which is a good thing bc I was worried it would look like a parachute got caught on the fence on windy days. Right now we have it folded in half so what you see in the pic I attached is doubled. We need to clear out a lot of brush that's over grown but I really didnt want to wait to put this up til then. We are really happy with it thus far. :) I hope our humble opinion helps you in some way . Thank you for reading.

Good quality screen, double up if you want more privacy and don't want people looking into your yard. If you want a light amount of privacy to try and deter nosey people going past your house then a single strip of this would work for that. Seems to be well made, I've had it up since Spring and doesn't have any rips or anything of the sort.

This SHADESPEARE, black, fence privacy screen is so useful. Made of UV resistant, opaque material this fence privacy screen is exactly what I needed for a section of wooden fencing facing a close, next door property. 50 feet long and 3'8" high this material fits exactly into the center section of a standard wooden fence blocking vision through the fence slats. It also nicely covers any wear, tear or exposure damage to this section of my fencing. The material is soft allowing for easy installation and can be secured via the built in grommets by zip tie, stake or nail. I fully expect this material to stand up well against the elements and last a long time. I am very very pleased with this item---thank you!
