The Tower arrived a few days earlier than expected. It was packed well and everything we needed to assemble it was included. The instructions were easy for me to follow and it took about 45 minutes to build by myself. My 16lbs male cat wanted to scratch, sit and lay on every piece while I was putting it all together.     • Difficult to Assemble

I have assembled several cat trees and several pieces of furniture. The instructions are pictorial for this item. But I had 2 main difficulties. 1. There are 8 largish, fabric covered dowels that require 2 bolts each to install. You cannot see where to place the bolts. This is VERY time consuming and frustrating. 2. The piece of upholstered plywood at the top of the assembly has 6 pre drilled holes. The picture indicates only 4 holes. Because the final pieces in the assembly must use the innermost pair of holes on the back of the board, the process is confusing and frustrating. The holes in the plywood are not visible because of the fluffiness of the upholstery, and the picture is inadequate in that it does not distinguish the 2 pairs of holes in the back. The assembled piece looks nice and feels good to my touch. But this is an aggravating project. ... show more

My cats are big boys, and they can both have fun on this comfortably. This tower is really big and tall, a lot for your money. It’s pretty well made too, not like so many towers that just feel like they’re going to fall apart. It’s going to keep the boys occupied for a long while. I’m very happy.

The Queen of kitty city approves! So does my elderly cat, although she frequents it much less. My kitten adores this. She plays on it all day and keeps a close eye on the backyard peasants (squirrels and birds). She is new to our house and this has helped socialize her. Instead of finding a hiding spot to nap, she perches up top and snoozes. I will say that when I opened the box I had a moment thinking I was going to be in IKEA Hell, but once I sorted out all the pieces and followed the instructions (which were clear and easy to follow) it really didn’t take me long at all to put together by myself.
