  • The SG500 has the compact footprint and rugged reliability of its predecessor, the SG400, but has been updated from the inside out. In addition to design improvements such as a single roll-bar, the SG500 is more energy-efficient, prints with higher resolution, and offers WiFi connectivity. This means youll enjoy higher quality products and greater ease of use, at a price comparable to the previous model.
  • The SG500 is backwards-compatible with SG400 accessories, so if you already own a bypass tray for the SG400, you will be able to continue using it. This allows you to print on media up to 51 long (1295 mm). Like all Sawgrass printers, the SG500 performs its own automatic maintenance cycle for trouble-free printing. For complete peace of mind, the SG500 is now backed by a 2-year warranty, as well as unlimited tech support for the life of the product.
  • We do the Onboarding! Our tech support works until 9pm central 365 days a year and are here to help set you up for success. We also include an InkMinder plate to remind you when it is time to change your inks and offer $5 recycling credit on SawGrass inks.
  • Printer also includes a sample box of substrates and a 100 pack of DyeTrans SPP Paper. Please note that Starter ink cartridges are for getting your printer set up and running but are not full ink cartridges. If you require full cartridges, please select out Standard Install kit which includes four colors of our 31oz SubliJet UHD ink.
  • PLEASE NOTE: STARTER INSTALL cartridges are for getting your printer set up and running but are NOT full ink cartridges. Because they only contain about 10% of what a Standard cartridge holds, they may show a very low ink level when installing but shouls be plenty to get you through multiple testings. If you require full cartridges, please select our STANDARD INSTALL KIT 31oz of each color of SubliJet UHD ink and will be full cartridges when they arrive.

I am beyond excited after receiving my sawgrass 500 printer. It was easy to get set up online, the design center is fantastic and they even offer free classes on how to use it from start to finish. I was a little concerned that the ink replacement cartridges were over 300.00 but I have used it for many many projects and it is only half empty, so the ink lasts a long time. I did order a cheaper cartridge that states you can use it in the sawgrass printer but I haven’t tried it yet and I am still on the fence as to whether I will as I don’t want to ruin the printer. I decided to purchase this printer for sublimation instead of converting an Epson. Sawgrass has great customer service that helps you with almost anything you can imagine from initially setting up the machine, to help with troubleshooting errors. Comes with instructions to help you get started and there are also a ton of videos online to help you as well. I would highly recommend this machine for sublimation newbies. The media could not be loaded. It has an ease of use. The Sawgrass has high quality printing. I tried converting an Epson printer, but the messy ink transferring and the dull printing made it a waste of money.
