Assuming you're like me, I read the reviews on most items, especially a $250 cabinet that's important to me to put the finishing touches on a garage we just had painted. With respect to reviews - if everything is all 5 stars - something smells fishy. In addition - there are some people out there that a company can NEVER please. Let's face it - some people will complain about their ice cream being too cold. All that said - my experience as a 1st time buyer of this cabinet was incredible! Things to know: 1. Purchased my first cabinet on 2/18/2020 2. The cabinet and experience was so good I purchased a 2nd cabinet on 2/27/2020 3. This is exactly what I wanted 4. I love the look 5. The pictures on Amazon are accurate 6. The shipping was phenomenal - no dents, no problems 7. You open the box and EVERYTHING is protected with styrofoam - from 1 panel to the next, everything is protected 8. All the nuts, bolts, screws to put it together were numbered perfectly and accurate 9. Directions easy to follow 10. An absolute Top shelf (pun intended) experience from the time I hit the 'Buy' button on Amazon to the product's timely arrival, quality and ease of assembly !!! As I said, I just ordered a 2nd one on 2/27/2020 I believe another reviewer talked about 'Best in Class' with this cabinet and I couldn't agree more..... Customizable into a rolling wardrobe. It arrived in a much smaller box than expected. Very pleased with its sturdiness and design. I reversed the top three back panels which added about 1.75” to the interior depth for hanging clothes (makes interior depth about 18” instead of the 16” attained when assembled as per the included instructions)(didn’t need to flip the bottom back panel one for my needs - see photos). ... show more

    • The golden standard of self assemble furniture

Pros: 1. this THE easiest to assemble furniture I've ever bought, every single piece is labeled, and all the small parts in their separate bags. Every panel has install direction labeled (eg. front, top etc..), they even provided extra screws for every type of screw. This should be the golden standard held to every self-assemble furniture. 2. took me 2 hours to put this together from scratch, by myself. 3. very sturdy and heavy duty wheels, yet very easy and smooth to roll due to having ball bearings 4. panels are not that thick, but once put together it's very sturdy due to clever design Cons: 1. As many other reviewers point out, it's very easy to receive one with bent panels, due to the panels being not very thick. I received exactly one panel that was bent, had to hammer it a bit to get it back into the correct shape. ... show more

I think we can drop the HD making you think Heavy Duty. I have purchased two of these cabinets on separate orders because they fit my needs to some degree. One of my doors has a ding where its not too noticeable, livable. For me, the fact that it came in pieces was mercy on my back while putting the cabinet where I needed it. But, it is flimsy light gauge metal and while assembling caution is needed. I'd like to be able to order additional shelves, so far I haven't seen that option. ... show more

These cabinets take some time to put together but they are easy to assemble. Very well built and beautiful. Would highly recommend. I would also recommend using a drill and not the screwdriver that they send with cabinet. They also send extra screws and mollies. They are beautiful! They are so nice I purchased 2. They hold alot of stuff. 150 lbs per shelf! I want 2 more. I purchased for my garage but they are beautiful enough for a kitchen. They are also shipped nicely! A little heavy but I am an older woman and was able to put them in my garage by myself. They come in boxes but are well protected with thick foam. 1 box per cabinet. Did I say Beautiful and sturdy!!!! ... show more

    • The directions are a bit confusing

All of the hardware & panels were clearly marked. The instructions sort of jump around a bit & require a fair knowledge about general assembly. Assembly works better with 2 people. I fully understand the comment about putting on the back panels "backward". It is not a left & right "backward" It is an inside out "backward". There are 4 panels, the decorated part of the panel goes inside. So you will see all of the identifying stickers facing up at you, if the unit is laying on it's front, per the directions. If you are looking for super heavy duty, please know that this is pretty much all sheet metal. The bottom is made the sturdiest of all the panels in the cabinet. & ours was dented in a couple places, but nothing that we couldn't fix, or that hindered assembly, or function, in any way. The right door, really has no "latch" except by locking the doors with the key. The left door has magnets that hold it shut. Over all, I am impressed with the product & will probably buy more in the future. If all the panels are installed properly, the cabinet, is, largely, mouse proof, as long as it remains locked. They do provide wall anchor straps, but we chose not to use them because it defeats the purpose of having the cabinet on wheels. The casters are pretty heavy duty. Assembly took about 2 hours. But this was the very first unit we ever assembled. To assemble a second unit, could, largely, be done without the directions. There is only bolts, no nuts. All of the nuts are built into the sheet metal panels. & they can strip, so go easy with them. ... show more

Took me 4-5 hours to put together. Did it myself (I'm 74). I cut the top of the box open and removed piece by piece. I used rubber mats as a base to lay the parts down(so they would not scratch). After wheels were put on, it was surprisingly light to lift up. Then the shelfs and doors were put on. My wife said it's nice enough to put in the house (it is). Surprisingly strong. I ordered a second one and am waiting until I have some time to put it together. ... show more
