The blocks themselves are fine and accurate, however the case is subpar. It arrived with a hole in the corner and a latch completely missing. I have another set of blocks, but they have no case. I was excited to have a set that i could keep organized or easily take with me. Still a good value for the money, but if they'd update the case it'd be 5 stars.

These setup blocks are pretty accurate for woodworking, they’ll get you “close enough”. Being setup blocks I would have expected them to be a little more accurate than they are but maybe that comes from working with metal machining and tolerances being much tighter. They’re also very useful for checking already formed features like a dado, or other grooves or slots for fit, that may be difficult to measure with a tape measure. For these uses it’s nice to be able to stack them together and build up a thickness of what you’re trying to measure. The anodized finish seems durable and it should wear pretty well. The storage case needed a little readjusting when it arrived and some hot glue, but it should serve its purpose to keep them safe from damage.

This is a review of Setup Block Height Gauge Set 15 Piece. This setup bar set is very useful in my woodshop. I checked them for accurate measurement marks and thicknesses with my calipers and found them to be accurate to within .005 of an inch. That is more than needed for woodworking! I use the 1x2x3 block that has ruler ticks on the face to set the height on my table saw. The other blocks have been useful in setting up the drill press depth. I set the bar on the table, lowered the bit to touch the bar, and set the stop. So, if I want a 1/2” deep hole in 3/4” material I use the 1/4” block. This works out faster than trying to mark the edge of the wood and lower the bit to the line and set the stop. It is also useful for the router table to set height, again the 1x2x3 block works good for this setup, but the other blocks would work great too. These setup blocks have met my expectations, so I am rating them 4 stars.

These are definitely a 'woodworking' quality set of gauges, in a half decent case, and a good variety of increments. They measured reasonably accurately, a few thou out on each, not particularly consistently, and they are 'square enough' for woodworking. Also probably useful for welding setup blocks, I'd describe these as a solid set of blocks.

I will preface this review by saying that I'm not much of a carpenter and generally only get "close enough" when measuring. It probably won't surprise you to learn that these are my first set of setup blocks and don't have a lot to compare them to. However, I've now been able to use these several times and find them really handy. First, yeah sure, you can use them to set up your table saw and I guess they work ok for that. Slightly better than the old way of ripping three boards and making small adjustments until you get what you need and then using that piece as the piece by which all others are judged. Second, I used the 1/4" one to hold a consistent gap when installing some paneling and it worked a treat. The case is pretty rugged and the lettering on the bars is clear and easy to read from multiple sides.
