    • These are such a joy!
Full disclosure, I bought these to hand out to adults at a house party fully intending to cause hilarity and chaos. Mission accomplished! The mount of joy on people's faces when I demonstrated how to play these simple instruments was immeasurable. Some people take to it easier than others, much like whistling, but once you get it, it's surprising how easy and intuitive it is to play. These are inexpensive plastic, cheaply made, but made well and perfect for what they are. You can get a rather pleasant tone with some practice and with a little more practice with friends, you can play some nice tunes! My friends and I tried our best to play a little concert of Hot Cross Buns and Pachelbel's Canon. Did we sound great? Heck no! But we had a blast! 11/10 worth every cent! ... show more

    • Fun for the whole family!
Each kid in my family got one of these with their Christmas gifts this year, and they were a hit! The grownups were treated to concerts all evening long. The quality was fine… they were flexible enough to press onto tiny faces, but not so flimsy as to feel cheap.

    • Wonderful, Simple Musical Toy
I received this pack of 12 nose flutes (also referred to by some as nose whistles) promptly and in perfect condition. Note (no pun intended) that each flute is individually sealed in a little plastic bag—no worries about transmitting germs when gifting a flute to another person. As a music teacher, I find these toys valuable as a way to introduce young children to the concepts of pitch, tonality, and volume, and when they get proficient at controlling the sound, it’s a marvelous way to begin ear training with having them imitate simple songs (pitch-matching). I have seen other vendors’ postings for these same items for ridiculous amounts of money (one was selling them for $60 for a packet of 10!).     • Lots of fun!
I remembered having these as a kid and having lots of fun with them, and couldn't resist buying this pack for my own kids and the cousins to enjoy. Once you get the hang of it, it's really easy...be sure you're just breathing through your nose and make sure your mouth is open over the lower hole (if it's not open enough the sound will come out soft and shrill, but if it's properly open it sounds like a loud whistle). Move your mouth and cheeks to vary the tone. Lots of fun! :) ... show more

    • Enough to start an orchestra!
Much to my wife's dismay, I picked up these nose flutes to take half way across the country for a family reunion. They were a great hit with everyone there (well, everyone except for one person). Easy to play. Multiple colors so you can sperate them by family or even into Bass, Tenor, and Soprano ranges. Our orchestra members ranged from 4 years old through to senior citizens. Everyone (well, almost as previously noted) was able to crank out a tune within the first minute of picking up their very first nose flute. A grand time was had by (nearly) all. ... show more
