TL;DR review: Recommended. Great mouse. Would be five starts if it had a back-button. I've gone through a few mice from various manufacturers, including a few from Microsoft, and unlike many, this little mouse works seamlessly. It has a pleasing and unique molted white color, with tiny dark threads and dots throughout, giving it almost a rough marble appearance. Could the dark spots be a result of the 20% recycled ocean plastic? They certainly don't detract from the look and I feel that if anything, they enhance the look. When I travel or am using my laptop around the house, I can use the touchpad for brief interactions, but if I'm going to spend any significant amount of time, I like using a mouse instead. I learned Windows using a mouse and after many years of using one at home and in the office, I'm more dexterous with one. I have both a Windows Surface Pro and a few Chromebooks and I wanted a mouse which I could toss in a bag, easily switch between laptops, and leave laying around whenever I needed one. I also didn't want to spend a lot on what I look at as an accessory. I was using a cheap wired Dell mouse with my laptops and kept a cheap HP wired mouse at work, but having to plug and unplug the wired mice each time was doable, but - I donno - inelegant? So I needed a wireless mouse and when I saw The Ocean Mouse at the a Microsoft Center, I was impressed by the portability, it's build, and it's origin story (even the packaging is all paper!). I thought it was going to sell for $50 and was pleasantly surprised to see it for around $20. Cheap enough that were I to lose it, I wouldn't kick myself. But would I like it? It's small... Let's compare it to my Logitech G502: Logitech: 132mm(L), 69mm(W), 40mm (H) actually Microsoft: 100mm(L), 58mm(W), 38mm (H) Note the Logitech lists as 75mm wide, but that takes into account the thumb-rest. So the Ocean Mouse is 32mm shorter, 11mm less in width, and loses 2mm in height. My glove size runs from L to XL, so does having a smaller mouse make a difference? Not really. If I'm gaming, it might, but then again when I game I use my wired Logitech or my wired Razor and not a Bluetooth. The responsiveness if perfect and it easily paired with my Windows machine and all of my Chromebooks. The click-wheel has a nice feel, though once again when compared to the one on a gaming mouse, it's like a comparing a the wheel of a Hummer to a Honda - it's smaller and narrower so it's not as comfortable as a wheel on a full size mouse. Click and scroll-wise it's fine, and were I not comparing mice, I might not have noticed. Would I recommend it or give it as a gift? Definitely. This is a nice mouse which you can use when you travel, as an everyday mouse, as a mouse you can toss in your bag, or as a gift to your college-bound kid. It's exactly what I wanted. So what's missing? Why the 4 star review instead of 5? As I write this review, it's 2022 - most mice come with a back-button. This one doesn't. A minor thing, but something that many of us are used to using when we're browsing the web. I would easily pay an extra $5 for a version with a back button (and maybe make the wheel a little wider, please?)

BIG THANKS to Amazon for prompt shipping. The moment I turned on the mouse my laptop instantly recognized new device. It works perfect and the silky smooth finish is awesome, easy to clean. The only thing that I donโt like is the scroll button, wish it was little curves in shape. This scroll button seems like old style light dimmer switch. But overall, itโs nice mouse and working perfectly.

It's a big brand decent quality Bluetooth mouse. Red LED optical mouse with just two buttons and a wheel. I knocked off once star just because it likes to sleep a bit more than my old Logitech Bluetooth mouse, and waking up sometimes takes a couple of seconds. However it's much cheaper. It's absolutely perfect for your office laptop if your IT department doesn't offer regular mouse replacements, and your don't feel like paying to much for your work stuff out of your pocket

I am a huge Apple fan boy who also happens to have major design OCD. Everything on my desk is from Apple with the exception of my mouse. Apple's Magic Mouse is an ergonomic disaster and can't be used while charging. I don't love Microsoft products but their mouse is actually not that bad at all. It fits in the palm of my hand perfectly and looks like the rest of my Apple hardware with the white gloss. For less than $20, you can't beat it.

This mouse is great for a compact mouse to carry with a more mobile device. My hands are average size and the mouse is small for me, but it was what I wanted for short use and portability. Also, it does not take up the single USB port on my laptop. Always connects immediately with my computer. The only thing I did not like is even though it was advertised as new, the one I received had been opened. May e not used, but package had been opened and resealed. Still, works perfectly for my needs.

Got this for our Chrome book and it has worked so well. I hate using the little pad on any laptop so this has been great. Easy to hook up the Bluetooth, the buttons are sturdy and easy to use, and the design fits comfortably in your hand. Highly recommend.

As a full time distance leaning college student and full time parent, I am always on the move and needed a small compact mouse to throw into my backpack and this was the perfect choice. I connect the mouse to my laptop through Bluetooth, which works flawlessly. The mouse is also very responsive. It does have the click sound and is not quiet but that does not bother me, but might for others. Very happy with the purchase.
