I buy on Amazon a lot, but rarely leave reviews. These chairs absolutely exceeded my expectations—they are heavy, sturdy, look like real wood and are comfortable to sit in. We love that the back rest reclines, and that they have a cup holder. They look expensive and were exactly what I was looking for. These chairs are fairly nice, for a good price. I looked at a few competing chairs (e.g. $300/ea at Rooms2Go, $150/ea at Costco), and while those had notable differences to justify the cost (e.g. thicker planks, more complex construction, added features, etc.), I think that these chairs offer a great value and are sufficiently well constructed. The fasteners/hardware all looks nice, and claims to be stainless steel which means it should not have any problems with weather or humidity. The pull pins seem to wiggle out on their own sometimes, and may require an extra restraint to retain them if you don't plan to use the folding feature often. The recline is adjustable to a couple different comfortable settings, and the overall seat height feels right. My chairs are white, and I set them out in the full afternoon sun and they did not get too hot to sit on, which is nice. The chairs weigh about 40lb each, which is enough that they shouldn't be easily blown around by modest weather. The plastic seems sufficiently rigid and durable, and I expect these to last at least a few years, even in full sun and weather. ... show more

These are great chairs. Very sturdy/heavy duty, and are comfortable! We bought 4. The first one took me about 2 hours to put together. I’m not an expert at building things but have put my share of furniture together over the years. I did find the assembly process quite simple, which was a great surprise. The instructions were 4 simple pages, with clear pictures and diagrams. The hardware was clearly labeled & I found easy to put the pieces in their respective places. The first one that I put together I used the hex & wrench, which was clumsy as expected. Chairs 2, 3 & 4 were about 40 minutes each as I pulled out my drill to use with the wrench. But I was VERY CAREFUL not to tighten anything down until the end! SUPER IMPORTANT to just “hand tighten” akk the screws until the chair is nearly done, to allow some give all the way until the end. The chairs have the lean back feature, as well as the fold down feature, so over tightening will make those features not work. The instructions are clear to point out not to over tighten in the specific areas though too. Very happy with the way these look and I’m genuinely impressed with how clear the instructions were/ ease of assembly! ... show more

Very nice looking. Deep, rich color. The curved seat and back make the chairs very comfortable. That said, the adjustable back makes these chairs feel less solid than fixed back angle designs. Easy to assemble; very clear and simple instructions with all parts and needed tools included. Great Features! The chair was easy to put together with all of the parts labeled clearly. The chair feels sturdy and will hold up to our South Texas weather. The cup holder is convenient and hides under the chair arm when not in use. My favorite feature is the three options of reclining. I love to lean back and chill while my husband prefers to sit more upright. This chair checked all the boxes! Oh and it even folds to be put away… one feature we probably won’t use often but it’s nice to have. ... show more

We bought these chairs for our lake camp. They are easily adjustable, have a cup holder and are fairly stable. I would purchase again. The color blue is just as the picture shows and we love it.     • Pretty good chair.

They are reasonably sturdy considering all the moving parts that are required to allow for folding. It took about 20 minutes to assemble. I’m 6’ - 250 pounds and they are large enough and sturdy enough to support me comfortably. They don’t really stack (nest) well for storage but do fold down to about 10” high. They are comfortable but if you ever tried to get out of any Adirondack chair you know the chair arms are what you pull yourself up with because you sit so far back and these arms are moveable for back adjustment - a little tricky. . I can’t speak to durability because I bought these at the end of the first season and used about a month before I put them in winter storage. One last note: we had a couple storms with 25-30 mph gusts and they held their place on the patio pretty well. For me, they were a good purchase. ... show more
