Just out of the box and really happy with this set! We chose the darker brown color (coffee) because it complements our gray paver patio and stone fire pit perfectly. The color adds warmth and gives the whole area a more custom, high-end look. The chairs are sturdy, comfortable, and look much more expensive than they were. Assembly was straightforward, and everything lined up well. I knew about the built-in cup holder, but I had no idea there was also a wine glass holder underneath the armrest. Someone actually had to point it out to me! Such a clever feature and a nice surprise. Overall, this set exceeded my expectations. It looks beautiful around our fire pit, feels solid, and has become one of our favorite places to relax in the backyard. Highly recommend! The chairs came well-packaged, the parts are in good shape, and assembly is easy because all the pieces are well-labeled; it includes the necessary screws, nuts, and tools. The dark blue color is gorgeous. The instructions are easy to understand, with good illustrations. The chair looks robust, it's heavy and feels firm, comfortable for sitting for a long time, even for big and robust people. It has two cup holders, one with a slot so the cup is more secure and the other flat. The best trick to unfold: Go behind, lift first on the back part where the backrest is until get into the slot, and then pull again until it's fully open. After opening it, always remember to put the pin before sitting down. If the pin doesn't pass, pull the back part where the back is a little bit forward to make it fall better. To fold it, you just pull that part of the backrest towards you, and then push to fold it shut. The chair isn't too reclined, so you can comfortably have a conversation while sitting. Also, your husband, who is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 235 pounds, finds it very comfortable. ... show more

The SERWALL Adirondack Chair Set of 4 with Cup Holders is a perfectly fine replacement for Polywood and offers great value for the money. The chairs feel high-quality and sturdy, with a solid composite build that looks like it will last. Assembly was fun and super simple - I put all four together in under an hour. Honestly, those saying it’s difficult probably aren’t very handy. I used my own tools instead of the small ones included, which made the process even easier. All pieces were well-aligned, and the hardware fit perfectly. One tip: the nuts are self-locking and need to be oriented correctly, which some people incorrectly complain as not fitting (again, not very handy). This feature is actually what will keep them from loosening over time, so it’s a good thing. I’ve only had them for a day, so I can’t speak to how they’ll wear over time, but all signs point to a long life based on the build quality and finish. Overall, these chairs are durable, attractive, and a smart buy if you want the Polywood look without the Polywood price. ... show more

These chairs are easy to put together and are well made. The hardware and chair material is nice and does not feel cheap. The chairs are not the most comfortable. You sit up a little too much and your back can’t get into the bottom archway. They will work but we have bought others that are more comfortable. They fold nice and easy to store. I admit I was totally skeptical about this HDPE stuff. However I totally stand corrected. These chairs are awesome! They were super easy to put together, excellent size and are extremely sturdy. The durability of them surprised me! Very nice! I’m going to order more!

One chair was missing hardware and the cup holder was broken. In all honesty though - they look FANTASTIC and I would highly recommend. I put in a claim with the card inside the package so we will see what happens to get it fixed
