We bought 8 of these Red color for an Airbnb house we are renting in a resort area. They are for around the firepit area. The prices was great and I was pleasantly surprised how well these went together. All the screws are drilled in precisely the right places and they provide basic tools to assemble them. they take about 15 minutes to put together each once you do the first one. The first one takes a little longer as you have to go step by step through the instructions. If you follow the instructions to the letter, they go together very well. The two drink holders one on each are is a nice touch. They fold up well, and the pin that holds them in place once open is solid. Overall very please with these. One tip, I happened to have hex head bits for my drill driver and after building the first one with their little Allen wrench I switched to the drill driver and it want so much faster. but if you use a power drill driver be careful to only snug tighten the bolts as they are easy to drive too far and it will pull through the poly material. This was a good buy and they look great around the fire pit.

Overall, I like the Adirondack chair. It’s comfortable and relatively easy to put together. I like the fact that it can fold for transit and storage. I had two minor issues with the chair. The first issue was with the final steps of the assembly instructions. Fortunately, common sense prevailed, but the last two steps (Step 7 and Step 8) gave the exact same written instructions for two different attachment points. The images for the steps were correct, but the written documentation was wrong. The other minor issue I had was the missing screw on the seat. In the photo you can see the hole where the screw was supposed to be. Having a lot of extra screws around the house, I was able to find a screw of the right size to replace the missing one. The two minor issues did not stop me from ordering another chair. Hopefully, the next chair won’t have a missing screw. As far as the incorrect instructions, it’s a good thing that the error occurred at the final stage. By that time, you’ve basically got the entire chair assembled so it’s easy to figure out how to attach the last piece. Oh, and the phone holder on the chair's left arm is an excellent idea, but the slot isn't wide enough to hold the phone if your phone has a protective case. However, the goblet holder works perfectly. The workaround for the too-small phone slot is to have a wine glass behind the phone to prop the phone up.

The color looks a bit pale right out of the box but in the sun it's a nice marigold color. It took me a lot longer to put together than 20 minutes, which is what I read the estimated time would be. It took me an hour per chair- I was tired when I put them together. I timed myself after the first chair & the 2nd chair still took me 45 minutes plus around 15 minutes to tighten everything up. I didn't use electric screwdrivers & such. Maybe I would have taken half the time if I had better tools. I think with 2 ppl it would be done in 20 minutes. The chairs are sturdy (you must be strong enough to tighten the screws pretty good, of course). They look great & having the ability to fold them to bring them inside in the winter is fantastic. The only thing is--they don't lean back as much as I had anticipated & aren't as deep as some of the higher quality chairs. I put a small pillow (as seen in my photos) on for my lower back. They're comfortable enough, but it's not supposed to be luxury comfort, I knew that going in. I think if you can also purchase the footstool, that would be ideal & make this much more comfortable. I also loved the wine & drink holders which are built into the arms. For the money, can't beat them so I recommend these chairs.

Perhaps if I were more mechanically minded, I would have had an easier time assembling this. However, it was still relatively easy despite my lack thereof. Read the instructions and lay out all the parts before you start. Make note of any screws, bolts, washers, etc. that might have escaped the package. Thankfully, the blister pack is sized per part, so you can still tell which bolt corresponds to which number part. Once assembled, double-check the removable bolt and make sure it is in place. Sit down with your favorite drink and relax. I am definitely going to order another one of these!

These came with everything needed to put together and I was able to do it by myself in like 45 minutes. They seem very sturdy and heavy to hold up to wind and weather. Very comfortable and look great! I like that they are foldable to put away over the winter.
