I purchased these to replace the interior and puddle lights on my 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. They are great for the puddle lights - very bright and on the white/cool white end of the scale, which matches perfectly with the rest of my exterior lights which I converted to LEDs. For interior (dome and map/reading lights) they work well but I discovered that the interior lights tend toward the warm white end of the scale so I used them for the reading lamps but left the dome lamps with the old bulbs so all the dome lamps match. If/when I convert all of them over, then these would be great as all-around interior lights as well. I was worried that they may be a bit fragile as they are a circuit board suspended between the bullet terminals so was careful to only push on the ends to seat the bulbs. I have no data on longevity yet but expect they would last longer than the stock bulbs (the incandescent bulbs were original so lasted 20 years and were working when removed).

For years, I have shied away from using, or letting any one else use, the overhead lights in my 2012 Chevy Colorado pickup truck. Early on. I discovered the heat from the factory installed halogen bulbs was destroying the external paint on top of the cab, directly over the roof-mounted light fixture. One dome light and two reading lights. I was looking for something else entirely when I stumbled on these lights, and I finally did something about my dome light issue. Replaced all 3 bulbs and the result is wonderful. Better illumination and FAR FAR cooler. I did have some doubt about which size to buy. Should have gotten one size larger, but these do manage to clip in and make contact, though a few more MM would be better.

The product works great, but always struggling with receptors. I read where someone jammed some foil in to make the contacts tighter so that's probably what I'll have to do. These are slightly smaller than the usual bulb, needless to say. Just be aware of this and they should work fine.

Plug and play feature makes it #1 option, however, in my SUV 2005 Mercury Montaineer I had to close the contact terminal for a tight connection otherwise they would be loose making them inoperable, one thing I notice they do not look so bright as stated (400 Lumen at 6k) I had a different kind which are 6k 300 lumen and they are super bright , but those were a challenge to install reason I went with the plug and play feature of this one for the map lights, less time spent testing to make them fit properly, now I can clearly see inside the SUV without the need of a flash light, I highly recommend them
