This is truly what I consider a "all-season" duvet, the thickness is just right for indoor use (~70F) all year round. The texture is soft and I believe there is real down inside. There is no static electricity in the dry environment either which is a huge bonus.

I sifted through (too) many mixed reviews on Amazon when I was looking for a down comforter and will say ultimately what made me choose this over others was brand recognition and reputation. This is my first down comforter, and after only two nights I’m so glad I bought this one, I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a little noisy, kind of crinkly, when you move but Im told that with use that will go away. It has a nice weight to it, as well as that cool crispness you get from a great set of sheets. I purchased one of these elsewhere a couple years ago and loved it so much I bought the same one here for my son last week. Just got it on his bed and it is exactly what we wanted. So comfy and cozy and warm but not heavy and hot. It does say dry clean only, but I have been washing mine on gentle cycle and drying on extra low a few times a year and haven’t had any problems. Of course I won’t “recommend” not following the laundering instructions, but I’ve washed and dried my old one like that and his new one now once and no problems. Very, very few feathers were in the lint trap from the dryer, too. I also love that it has corner loops to keep the duvet from getting twisted, as my 6-year-old seems to run obstacle courses in his sleep. 10/10. Highly recommend. ... show more
