I have a much bigger box that I can't carry to a job site. I'll load this with only what I need when I have mechanical work on my farm. It may be too heavy if over-packed with tools, but I know not to do that. I don't think it would survive being dropped or standing on it. It's medium-weight. Buy the liner for the drawers. I got this toolbox for Christmas 2021. I loved the multiple drawers and overall construction of it; however, its durability is not impressive. We moved in February 2022 and in the process of moving, multiple boxes were "crammed" into my truck (where the toolbox was). The packing caused the locking "loop" to get bent over. It easily bent back, but eh emphasis is on how easily it was to bend and then bend back. I do hope it does not break if it continues to get bent over. Now, the locking mechanism that engages when the lid is closed is not working. What this means is, now, my drawers open whether the lid is closed or not (not supposed to if closed). I had high hopes for this, but I guess what you get is what you pay for. In this case, the overall design is great, but the parts that matter are inferior. ... show more
