We bought this to replace our old comforter. I'm sorry I waited so long to replace it. This one is fluffy, warm, and a great weight for us. My husband doesn't need a heavy comforter, so this is a happy medium for us. I did need an extra blanket during the coldest NY winter nights (my husband didn't), but I think it's a good trade-off for having a comforter that is comfortable throughout the rest of the year and a good compromise for me and my husband. My husband is allergic to feathers, so real down was out of the question. This comforter gives us all the plush, cloud-like goodness without the sneezing and watery eyes—a total win! The first pic is after it was fluffed in the dryer and by hand. The second is straight out of the package. I have read ALL the reviews for EVERY down alternative comforter there is. Well, maybe not EVERY one but it sure feels like it! I’ve done my research. I’ve bought and returned. I got the extra warmth. This one is the one you need. It’s soft, decently thick, quality materials and workmanship. Do I want it thicker? Yes! But I’m looking to sleep in a cloud. I’m “extra” with everything. This is as good as it gets. And the price! So affordable! So, in total I have purchased 4 of these in King, 110x96 but for Queen beds. 3 for kids/guest beds. And 1 for mine temporarily until I can find one big enough for my king, 130ish x 96-100ish). (I wish they made oversized but it seems like I will have to get something straight from China to get it big enough or custom made $$$!). So, when I do find one, I’ll take mine and put it in with another insert and if I love the thicker look, I’ll be buying 2 more. It really is a GREAT down alternative comforter. ... show more

Just received this comforter recently and so far I really like it. It has loops on each corner so I can tie it in place inside my duvet cover. We live in Wisconsin which can get pretty cold and thus far I feel as if we'll stay snuggly warm all night. It's not overly puffy looking but makes our duvet cover just lofty enough to look and feel very cozy. Some people complain of a weird smell but mine seems fresh with no odor at all. I’ve been sleeping with it for about a week and it is just as warm and comfortable as the down blanket was but I expect the insulation to remain more evenly distributed and this will be easier to care for. ... show more

What a huge disappointment in Serta. The only reason I bought this was because of their name and thought they had a good product. I selected the heavyweight warmest option they had. They showed pictures of all three different options, thin, medium, and heavyweight. The heavyweight one I bought looks exactly like the thin one. Also, when you take The blanket out of the package, there’s no tag on it to state which one you bought. Trust me it’s the thin one used for summer weight. It’s light as can be and you could almost see through it. What a disappointment. Also will nevertrust Serta again. ... show more
