This is a great comforter/duvet insert. I personally use it as a comforter alone with no duvet covering it. I always wash bedding before using it and want you to know this only gets better and better and more and more soft and comfy with every wash. It can be washed and dried right in your home washer & dryer and it has held up well in mine this far (and mine is a king size). I’ve washed it probably 4 times in a month and a half and the only change is it’s better everytime I complete the wash and dry! It’s very soft and cozy, not to hot or too cold. It allows for a slight amount of air to come through it keeping you from getting too hot like some others I’ve had. If you like comforters that have the crisp, crackle sounds and are looking for one like that, then this is NOT the one you want. I always get mine a size up from my actual bed size so my bed is a queen therefore I purchased a King size which fits great. It’s not too heavy where it hangs over the sides and even though my bed is lower to the ground, it doesn’t touch the ground. I believe that the queen size would fit my queen bed nicely as well based on the measurements. ... show more

My husband and I were sleeping on IKEA Duvet and IKEA duvet covers and it worked for a bit until it got so uncomfortable I was moving to the couch every night. I finally decided it’s time to upgrade our sleeping wares. The hardest part was finding the perfect duvet. I tend to sleep SUPER hot, but still would like a fluffy and comfortable blanket. I’ve bought down 64oz fill, 45oz fill, all way too hot. Bought a cooling duvet, too thin, not fluffy enough. These were all 100+ dollar duvets and in a last ditch effort decided to pick this duvet up and it’s PERFECT. It’s fluffy, comfortable, temperature regulating. Definitely light in weight too I would estimate it’s around 30oz down fill equivalent? Going to purchase this duvet for every room. I love this blanket! Easily my favorite I’ve ever had. It’s been 4 months and I’ve washed it twice, still like new! The problem I have is, I have rough heels, which would make my other comforters pill (get those tiny little annoying balls) and I haaaate the way they feel. I bought this because I was tired of fighting with my duvet every night. I thought it was medium weight. However, it’s made for looks and not much warmth I guess. It is well made and I hope it washes well since I have a small dog that’s all over the bed.
