The whole family loves this egg chair. I’m really glad that I got one with a stand so I can move it around. The stand is sturdy and it looks nice. The chair hangs on the stand via a chain and spring. The spring adds a bit of bounce which my kids love. It’s fun to swing in and it is also able to rotate freely without getting twisted up. I find it super relaxing to sit in. The cushion is really plush and comfy too. There is a main cushion and a separate head pillow that ties on so it can be adjusted for different heights of users. It’s easy to take the cushions off if I ever want to in bad weather. I’ve left it out in the rain for the past week though and was impressed at how water beads up on the fabric and rattan. It is well made to be able to remain outside. It’s also easy to remove the chair part if I ever have to in a hurry. We get such bad storms and high winds here lately that I sometimes like to take things down that freely move so they don’t blow around. I spend hours in it every day since it arrived! I wish the cushion was a bit thicker, it does get a little uncomfortable after a while, I will probably get a replacement cushion at some point. But other than that, I love it. It is very sturdy, and was pretty easy to assemble

Do not purchase this if you’re taller than 5’3”. The chair is short so if you’re taller than 5’3”, you’ll have to sit in the chair slouched or with you chin in your chest. It is easy to assemble but not for adults. This would be perfect size for a small child. I do not recommend.
