The whole family loves this egg chair. I’m really glad that I got one with a stand so I can move it around. The stand is sturdy and it looks nice. The chair hangs on the stand via a chain and spring. The spring adds a bit of bounce which my kids love. It’s fun to swing in and it is also able to rotate freely without getting twisted up. I find it super relaxing to sit in. The cushion is really plush and comfy too. There is a main cushion and a separate head pillow that ties on so it can be adjusted for different heights of users. It’s easy to take the cushions off if I ever want to in bad weather. I’ve left it out in the rain for the past week though and was impressed at how water beads up on the fabric and rattan. It is well made to be able to remain outside. It’s also easy to remove the chair part if I ever have to in a hurry. We get such bad storms and high winds here lately that I sometimes like to take things down that freely move so they don’t blow around. I got this SereneLife Hanging Egg Chair, and I’m in loveeeee! It’s seriously the best spot in my house now. Lol. The chair is super comfy and feels like I’m floating in my own little bubble. I was surprised at how strong it is.. it holds up to 550 lbs, so no worries about it breaking when me & hubs want to sit in it together. The wicker rattan and steel frame make it look really fancy, but it’s also super sturdy. Setting it up was easier than I thought, and now I can just swing and relax whenever I want. I've been wanting one of these for a long time and finally gave in and got one and I'm happy I did! The rattan is thicker woven than I expected, the steel frame is very sturdy even with the kids bouncing in and out of it (since they have no respect for our bedroom lol). It doesn't tilt or move like it's going to fall down or apart and none of the woven areas have opened or split apart. The cushion is the right thickness to not feel all the individual pressure areas and still fit well into the opening. I've thrown the pad into the washing machine and it came out the same way it went in looking no worse for the wear. This chair is great. It shipped fast and was packaged well, plus it was easy to put together. The box was very heavy, but it just shows how sturdy the chair is! It is also extremely comfortable and i love that the fabric on the chair is UV proof and water resistant.
