As others have mentioned, I REALLY wouldn’t use this portable bath for a large dog, only small ones. While the listing states that it ‘supports pets up to 130 lbs’, my first impression was that there was no way my 82-pound dog would fit. That makes sense because, upon closer inspection, I saw that the tub states the maximum weight is 130 pounds INCLUDING WATER, and the water at the maximum level weighs 80 pounds. So, it supports up to 50 pounds of dog, not 130. It’s really misleading. Fortunately, I didn’t order this with my dog in mind; otherwise, I’d be pretty annoyed by how deceptive the listing is. However, I actually wanted it as a tub for my winemaking supplies. Washing carboys in my kitchen sink is difficult, as they’re too big to sit flat, and I’m always worried I’ll hit or drop them on the cast-iron basin, resulting in glass shards everywhere. This little tub is perfect for that task. Its size is generous for this use, and the soft bottom makes it much safer for handling my glass carboys. The tub’s plastic is thick and feels durable. It holds water perfectly with no leaks. The design is very well thought out. There are rigid supports for the floor on either side of the center drain. This allows the tub’s body to dip down, creating a low point that’s very useful for draining, since that’s where the drain is located. The drain itself is wide, allowing the tub to drain quickly, and debris like dog fur or wine sediment washes out easily. Overall, I’m very happy with this tub for washing carboys and wine equipment. I ordered the SereneLife Portable Dog Bath Tub with Drain for our grand pup’s visits, since bath time is a regular occurrence when she is visiting. While her parents do not mind using our spa-sized bathtub, the cleanup afterward, especially the dog hair left behind, usually falls to us. We placed the portable tub inside our bathtub and chose not to use the strap, as she seemed to enjoy prancing around in her new bath space. Although bath time was still a bit of a challenge, the process was noticeably easier and far less messy than bathing her directly in our tub. The portable bath is lightweight yet sturdy, which makes it easy to position and manage inside a human-sized bathtub. Some of the additional features, such as the built-in Batman-style utility pockets, are easy to overlook because the biggest benefit is the reduced cleanup. Not having to scrub dog hair out of the bathtub afterward is more than worth the price of admission. The value proposition is strong, particularly with the discounted pricing available as of December 2025. The tub feels well-constructed and durable enough for frequent use, and it would be a practical option for anyone considering a visiting dog bathing business.
