These are *so much better* than the dirt cheap ones I pulled off the back of my TV. Pros: Bright. Really bright. Rich colors. Coated with some kind of flexible plastic that makes them feel sturdy and will also protect from dust and make them come off the television easily if needed. Adhesive seems good but not so good I'm afraid to put them on the TV. Covers all four sides of a 65" TV with some left over. Easy to set up and works well with both Google Home and Alexa. The power cord is longer than it was on the cheap ones. The control box is easy to operate and has adhesive that allowed me to press it onto the back of the TV rather than leave it hanging off the cord. Much less blue shift to colors than the cheaper ones. Comes with an extension plug on the free end in case you need it. Cons: These are general purpose rather than designed for the back of a TV. The thick coating that protects them also makes them less able to mold to the curve on the TV and they are challenging to get around corners. I probably didn't need to do the bottom edge of the TV because they're pretty bright, so in hindsight I might have preferred some designed for a TV. The app has fewer choices for effects than most others I've tried. The thickness of the strip made cutting the excess slightly harder. I could do it with regular scissors, but if you do it with hair or fabric scissors someone will probably be upset with you. I don't know if you could use one of those special corner connectors on it with the protective coating. Recommendation: I'm happy with these, especially with the vivid colors and bright LEDs. If you want perfect corners you might want to go with something else, but if a truly sturdy strip light appeals to you and you're willing to let the corners stick up a bit this might work for you. The Sengled app has fewer options but also causes fewer hiccups in my system than the Tuya and magic home apps did. I'm already considering getting another strip for kitchen cabinets, so I can recommend these. ... show more

These are nice and fine for most applications, but for the price, the RGBW versions are a lot better. The LED Density is about twice as much on that version compared to this one, with dedicated white LEDs in combination with RGB LEDs. Overall the white tones will be more adjustable and accurate. This version has great color throughput, but lags behind in overall brightness and white temperatures. I believe the price is competitive enough to say they are likely to be more preferred to other knock off, remote based RGB rope lights. For that, I give 3-3.5 stars I would think. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It works very well with google home. Also, the lights are very bright and easy to install. In the video, the lights are behind the theater curtains.

Many of the Alexa devices I purchased recently have had issues staying connected. These lights are an exception, and never lose connection. The adhesive is strong, they look great, and all the functions work correctly. My son loves them!
