I thought this was going to be a great upgrade to manually controlled backlight to my living room television. My biggest mistake was that I waited several months to open the package, will past the Amazon return window. The installation itself was not difficult, although the directions do read a bit like an IKEA diagram. Most importantly and I consider myself to be fairly tech savvy with a lot of home automation items, this device failed to attempt to my network after at least five attempts on two different networks, one main, one guest. This model requires that connectivity to its app in order to work, so it's useless and requires an uninstall of all of the lighting on the back of the TV. Unless you want endless frustration, pick a different brand or keep it simple and use a model with a remote control That turns on and off automatically with your TV. ... show more

Good price, when it comes to connecting the wifi to the device it took me 6 times to finally I had to do a lot of petty stuff in order for it to work. The camera is the best(the price) the video and game sync is like a 6 out of 10 needs work. Sadly I have a small tv so I can’t get other products. If they at least fix the camera then this would be Pretty good. ... show more

To start off, the leds seem to have the seven basic colors of a rbg led as seem in my pics. You can manually dim the leds but you don't get the 16 million possible colors you'd expect. The power cable was too short at around 5 ft, it was straining to get to the plug and if I moved the TV to see it better, the plug would come out. The leds are pretty spaced out, I was expecting a higher density, that can also be seen in the pics as "color zones". The camera was was terrible both in quality and usability. You can't really move it once its set to get A better view of the screen. Finally, their solution for corners with the led strip is to put a twist in it instead of led strip corner adapters shortening the strip over all. ... show more

This strip accommodates a larger TV depending on how you install it on the back. I was able to install it with a couple of inches to spare on my 75-inch TV, you just need to make sure you install it correctly. The only thing I did not like is the adhesive. I used both the adhesive on the back of the strip itself and the clips it comes with. Both of which half are falling off and it’s hanging on by a thread. If your tv has a textured back it doesn’t seem to adhere as good as a flush non textured back. My TV unfortunate has the majority of the back textured, so the adhesive isn’t adhering properly. I also recommend holding it for a few seconds or a minute to let it adhere that seemed to work better. When I first connected it tended to stay more on the blue/white, I had to download the app and sync it for it to be able to sync with the TV. That was relatively easy since the strip isn’t password protected and was transmitting as soon as I plugged it in. Once you get it connected to the app you can do some cool things with it, but you have to connect it with the app to do different things including the tv sync mode. Overall, this is a nice strip, other than it sticking to the tv properly and I think that is more of a My specific TV issue than the strip as most strips use the same type of adhesive, this strip seems great. I was able to connect it to my Alexa and you can dim or brighten the lights, along with other functions. The tv sync seems to work well with the changing picture.     • Not happy with customer service
I bought this item during prime day. It was a great deal. I received it installed it. It worked great. I had a firm Ware update notification, I did the firmware update. And then it did not work. I called customer service. who said they are no longer taking calls need to email. I emailed them provided them the model number and what my problem was I received an acknowledgment of my request advising I needed to include my model number. I responded to the email with my model number and I never heard again. I waited two weeks and had no response , so I took the lights off my TV and returned them to the seller. I was given a refund, but I never heard from them again I cannot recommend this product. ... show more
