This machine is pretty easy to use. The edge is clean, all I did is to put the floor under the blade and press hard. I tried with vinyl, the cuts are shown in the picture. If you don't have jig saw, this tool is much easier than oscillations tool.

A good product, but if you buy steps could come with a raised front, you can’t run them easily or maybe at all through this product. You can solve the problem by using a jigsaw cutter, or most likely any reasonable saw.

Directions and video that came with the unit, could be used as a fire starter. Read the directions on amazon and watch there video! Works perfectly for all cuts. I would recommend it to anybody.
