    • Excellent Product!
I used it on my miter saw, table saw, sanders and also used it to power my Festool vacuum cleaner. The Festool vac has an automatic feature which senses when I use the track saw but it doesn't work and replacing the control board would cost a fortune. Switching the vacuum on manually and having the SENCTRL automatic vacuum switch control the vacuum works just as well, if not better than the Festool feature and a whole lot cheaper. ... show more

I've been using this switch for several months and it works great! The dust is minimized and it stays on a little longer afterwards to suck what ever is left. Easy to use and have had no issues with it so far.

    • Works...until it doesn't--UPDATE--free replacement!
UPDATE: Senctrl responded to my negative-ish review by offering me either a refund or a replacement product. I chose the replacement b/c a) I just wanted an auto vac switch that worked, and b) I do understand that some products simply fail earlier than expected, and was more than willing to give 'em a second chance. I am happy to report that the replacement arrived w/in a few days (Amazon normal), and works perfectly upon installation. I'll update this review if the product appears to fail in an unreasonably short timeframe, but for now, kudos to customer support for standing behind their product--I'm pretty sure that I got the replacement outside the official warranty, and for no questions asked. Happy days. //original review follows// I added this to my table saw setup, so I could simply turn on my saw and the attached shop vac w/ cyclone separator would start automatically, without me having to step around to switch it on. Worked like a charm, and I especially liked the feature that kept the vac powered for seven seconds after the saw stopped, to gobble up all those particles still swirling around. All was good for about five months, until one day it simply stopped working. Cold. More specifically, rocking the switch to "off" indeed means that the vacuum won't start. And the "(always) on" position works. It's just that the justification for this $30 switch, the "auto" position fails to power on the vacuum at all. Now, I can work around this by simply switching the rocker to "on" before I power up my saw, but again, this totally defeats the purpose of a little pricey switch box to begin with. And, yes, I verified the issue was not my vac by plugging in another device into the vac port. Clearly something in the unit fried, and this highly disappoints me. It's a solid state product and should last for years and years. Five months? Look elsewhere IMHO. ... show more

This “point of use” product has been a game changer. My table saw is away from my shop dust collection system. A small vacuum, this switch. And my table saw are a “stand alone unit” and I couldn’t be happier. The switch works perfect - and the vacuum delay is spot on!

It works as promised and seems to be very well made. Cheaper than some of the competition and more compact too. I nylon tied it under my table saw. Very convenient.

    • Worked well for 6 months then stopped working completely. Great customer Service.
Edit: SENTCTRL reached out and offered a full refund or a replacement switch so their customer service is on point. The switch worked as advertised for a few months of light use and then stopped working in both auto and manual modes. It was in a home shop with occasional so I would be cautious. There isn’t any troubleshooting to be done so it’s essentially just an outlet now. ... show more
