These things are legit walkie-talkies. Not some kids crap. That being said, they can be a bit more complicated than traditional kids walkie-talkies. You just have to train your kids not to fiddle with the buttons too much unless they're older. My kids listened after messing it up a few times and I told them I wasn't going to fix it until the next day. Now they know to stop messing with settings. If your kids are decent at following the rules after a break-in period of curiosity, then this will be great. My daughter gave one of hers to her friend across the street so they could talk some during the pandemic and it had excellent range and sound quality, especially at this price. I did a lot of research and most kids walkie-talkies suck, you just need to get some cheaper adult-style ones like these. ... show more
