The tripod has a center pole that converts to a selfie stick. The tripod extends to a good length, 5 feet from floor to mount. It can go as low as 16” so sitting on the floor and using it is possible. There are 4 phone mounts, one is for mounting a phone inside the ring light. The other mounts are for the selfie stick. The mounts can hold a 3” wide phone, with my case it was 3 1/4” and it was not a great fit (iPhone pro max). I had to take it out of the case. The ring light is a good way for the subject to look younger because no shadows are cast, shadows highlight wrinkles. Light falls on the subject from all directions but you must place your camera in the middle of the ring light in order to get the benefits. The brightness of the ring light allows for good lighting of a portrait, probably about 2 feet square however added light will allow for a larger area. The kit includes a ball mount which is for mounting the ring light to the tripod. If you get a 1/4” 20thread 1” bolt, cut off the head then you can mount the ball-head INSIDE the ring light. That will allow you to mount an SLR or mirrorless camera inside the ring light. Overall not the best quality equipment but sufficient for hobbies. ... show more
