I have had 4 Seiko watches and like them all - still have 3, one was lost after 20+ years of service. This one is just slightly larger than an old fashioned men's size watch (which I prefer), not as oversized as most now. The 5 min markes are very large, and the hands and min dots are large enough to be easily readable. The "champaign" face (= light gold) is a bit similar to the hands, so the contrast is just enough. The calfskin band is a bit narrower than most, but is supper comfortable, and helps to lighten the weight, making the overall comfort higher. One unexpected feature I like is that the minute marks on on a beveled ring, which adds a nice texture to the look. Amazon spec says made in China, but the watch back states Japan. Also states 10 bar (the higher waterproof spec) and saphire crystal (which I think is pretty durable). I recommend it. ... show more

Beautiful watch for the price. I replaced the leather band with a steel bracelet and it looks awesome. It’s Solar and never has to be wound and keeps time perfectly. Well worth the money.

The watch is easy to set the time and date. This watch replaced a Citizens, which is a very difficult watch to set. I have worn it for a week and it is keeping perfect time.

I need a watch for work. I like that this one has a sapphire crystal (it just doesn't scratch), and is powered by light — sunlight or artificial light. Changing batteries, or winding a watch, is a nuisance.

Beautiful, Elegant, and accurate wristwatch from Seiko. It is Solar, Powered by Light Energy, light is collected by the Cristal, which works as the solar panel. The dial color looks more dark grey, only under certain illumination it may look greenish. To me both colors are OK.
