  • Great watch for most wrists
Great watch! Legendary Seiko quality and reliabilty .But it wears too small for my 8.5" wrist for my liking. I wish it was larger but I know it fits the majority of mens wrists. It is an attractive watch. I'm on the hunt for another larger Seiko .

  • Beautiful, perfect
Looks way more fancy and expensive than the price tag, love it. The watch face's etching is a little more dramatic than the stock photos let on. Don't be concerned by the larger size compared to the discontinued model, I have absolute twig wrists and the watch still sits and fits great. The steel bracelet will adjusting of course. ... show more

  • Excellent Value
It's a great looking watch for the money. It's a quirky watch otherwise and I can see it being a love it or hate it design. The 4:20 date placement - I'm cool with 420 ;), but it's a throwaway being microscopic, sunken in, unreadable...not so useful. The 24-hour subdial was a shocker - at first, I thought the watch was defective. This is a 60 minute chronograph: minutes at 6 and seconds on the main dial. And it doesn't roll over - it stops after an hour. The 24-hour dial replicates the hour hand position in 24-hour time; it's not a counter. And it is not independent of the hour hand, so it's not a GMT either. I like it for my own quirky reasons; others may not. Some don't care for the bracelet, but it seems solid although maybe not the best match for the watch. Pros: - decent size at 42mm; the larger bezel smaller face make it appear smaller - I took four links out of the bracelet to size it. My smallest watch I wear these days is 40mm, my largest is 46mm. I like this watch size. - solid, comfortable bracelet - moderately easy to size, just use something like a large, shallow Tupperware container to work in so the little collars in the links don't fall and get lost! - lume was not so bright but seemed to last well into the night straight of the box with only evening wear, no sun. - black hands make for good readability against the silver face and the lume makes them standout over the subdials. - attractive, classic design - the Solar power thing seems cool - satisfies the "mr. gadget" in me. :) - seems like excellent value : Solid Stainless, Sapphire Crystal, Steel Bracelet with a nice clasp. Cons: - Date is almost pointless - 21mm lug width - limits the choice of aftermarket bands - 24-hour counter is not a counter, but if you want to see 24-time, then it's interesting. - bracelet is generic and a little chunky for the watch, but out of the box it is more than OK. - does everything line up perfectly? No. Most noticeable is the lume at 6 is a little to the right, but I have a Breitling that has the same thing and it cost several times more - perhaps a sign that a person made these things versus a robot, I have no idea? And the second hand could be better aligned with 12, and I tried the adjustments - this is as good as it gets. At this price-point, I'm not looking for perfection. ... show more

  • excellent piece
This is very beautiful and has a nice weight to it. The dial is silver, but it appears slightly whiter when it catches the light. It's beautiful. It works perfectly.

  • Great quality chronometer
Good looking solar powered watch. Adjusting the links is a pain because you have to remove the pins. People claim its a Daytona look-alike but I think it looks more like an Omega Speedmaster. No screw down pushers, no crown guard. Date is impossible to read. If you want a Daytona look-alike, get a Pagani. ... show more

SEIKO IS SEIKO, this watch is perfect, the only regret that I have is the window for the date exposure, is like there is none, you literally need a loupe to see it, other than that, is perfect
