This is a standard run of the mill Seiko and looks good and works okay. It's consistently running -30 a day, had to change out the bracelet due to very poor quality. Not worth the price

I'm 78 years old and have been collecting and restoring 19th century pocket watches since 1970. "Quartz" revolutionized "TIME" - It did NOT revolutionize anything else. I have always admired mechanical watches and have quite a personal collection. I have watched the evolution of Seiko from almost their beginning till today. Seiko does not send its movements to the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, or the Association for the Official Swiss Chronometer Certification) as it feels their movements are as good or better than other manufacturers. For the record, Seiko performs testing of its movements to a greater degree that the COSC does. I truly enjoy the 'styles' of various Seiko watches and have one to match each and every wardrobe change I wear daily. I purchased this SEIKO Men's SRPK97 5 Sports Watch, replaced the metal band with a gorgeous man's blue leather band and deployment clasp = perfection in my eyes. It keeps excellent time and stands out from similar items anywhere in the 'watch universe' in my opinion. My highest recommendation = BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! JCH ... show more
