It’s nice watch that you could wear with anything and not be out of place. I’ve had it for a little over 24 hours and it’s keeping accurate time. The see through back is a nice touch where you can watch at the movement working. There’s just something about wearing a mechanical watch that you don’t get with a quartz watch. My favorite thing about this watch is it’s subtle. It doesn’t have a brightly colored bezel or branding on the watch dial that doesn’t need to be there. I don’t want a big number 5 on my watch. Even where it says “automatic” is tasteful in thin and small text. It does not have a sapphire crystal and it’s not made in Japan. This is perfectly reasonable for how it’s priced. Seiko makes watches with those features, but you will pay for them. This is a watch that looks perfect and you don’t have to worry about locking it up in a safe. You can wear this anywhere and if it gets damaged or lost, it’s not as big of a deal. This is a watch you can wear and enjoy regardless of where you’re at or what you’re doing. This doesn’t mean it’s a cheap watch because the crystal is going to be fine unless you drag it across concrete. The band looks nice. It technically does have one micro adjustment but it doesn’t have a whole bunch of positions like some. It’s one more position where the pin can go in that would give you approximately a half a link of adjustment. I have hair on my wrist and budget watch bands scare me. I chose to buy a Seiko because I’ve known them to have a very low profile. This is a very beautiful watch and I’m enjoying it. It’s nice. I’ve taken three links out to make it fit. It’s a bit heavy, but I have a feeling. I will have it for as long as I want and it will just keep working well. Very cool to see the gears in the back and it has this little gyroscope like weight that moves around. It makes me feel like 1 million bucks to wear it. My only criticism is that it is not very thin like I’ve known these watches to be when my dad used to wear them. I would still recommend. ... show more

    • A hidden gem that gets under everyone's radar!
If king Seiko had a child, this would be it. If presage had a younger sibling, this would be it. It has the looks and the presence of both king Seiko and presage but minus the hefty price tag and that Seiko 5 logo which I am not a big fan of. It is a real hidden gem that gets least to no coverage. It's a great everyday watch which you can go casual or dressy depending on your preference. My only nitpick is that it has no lume. Seiko made a mistake by releasing this at this price, but great for consumers! The only con is the bracelet. I don't like the bracelet with its hollow links with hollow end. It's dangly and jangly. I guess you can't win'em all. Also, don't be misled by the photo. On the photo, the watch dial says its made in Japan, but what you'll actually get is not assembled from Japan. ... show more
