This is the second Seiko Series 5 watch I have purchased in the last theee months. The finish started wearing off the first one in a week. The second one same thing within one week the finish was coming off the band. Then about a week ago it started not keeping time and the day date function was off. My Seiko that was to be replaced by these is 13 years old and has never had any of these problems. I believe the difference is my original was Japan manufacturing and these last two were Chinese junk. Do not buy one of these Chinese Seikos or you will be very disappointed. ... show more

This watch exceeded my expectations. The gold dial looks elegant and timeless, and it feels much more expensive than it actually is. The automatic movement works perfectly, keeping accurate time without needing a battery, which is a big plus.
