Ever fall in love with something you bought online, never touched or looked at it in your hand? Well, This watch just about covers it. Is it a Rolex or a Grand Seiko? NO. However, for an inexpensive watch, it looks and feels great. I can't give it any long term reviews but initially, It is great. Especially after being so very disappointed in the Invicta watches I had purchased before. As they say, you do get what you pay for. I have the feeling I will be able to use this watch. Rather than wear it and look for the time on my cell phone as I have had to do so many times with that other brand. This watch looks good, feels good and the bracelet was very easy to resize. I love how the second hand just sweeps along, no dithering just steady as she goes. If you are looking for a decent well-priced wristwatch that you can wear every day then you should consider this one. The Seiko SNXS77 was worth the price, so far. The shipping and delivery were great as well. Not done by Amazon. Shipped from Watchnation in the UK. Not sure if it came from the UK but it arrived in 3 days.     • A quality automatic watch
I ordered the Seiko 5, SNXS77, blue dial, and I like it. First, if you open the box and the "day" function is in Arabic, do not fear, this watch is bilingual! Read the manual and it will explain how to have English days of the week displayed. In fact, put the watch away and read the manual first! The most important part is: Do not set the date while the time on the watch is between 9 pm and 4am. This is bad for the watch. To be safe, set the time (pull the crown to the second click and turn the crown) to 6 o'clock first, before touching the date function. ... show more

This watch has been in production for decades, and there is a good reason for that! Solid, accurate and very high quality. There is no way to go wrong with one of these.

    • Good first adult watch for my teenage son
It is a good-looking watch that my son likes. It has been accurate. The day is in both Roman and Sanskrit (i think), but this is not an issue as you can set up either to show without any problems. Only issues we have is the auto winding system. Works, but should be able to sit for more than 24 hours. Would purchase again. ... show more

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The watch died after not having it for even a month. I sent it back by the date requested on Amazon and they sent me a $0.01 return stating it wasn’t received in time. I called and was told they would email me within2 business was days with an update but that sure never happened. Asked for a manager to contact me and still nothing. This watch is beyond explanations. For an automatic high quality stainless steel watch at this price point is unbelievable. I have Rolex , Tag, Breitling etc. Not sure why we pay for the "Swiss Made" as the Japanese have it down. Seiko is the better Swiss! I have 3 Seikos and will be buying more! Chris ... show more

    • Not enough power reserve
It is a good looking watch but lacks enough power reserve. I wear it 24 hour a day but most nights it runs out of power before morning even though I am active all day. Also has a cheap folded metal band that I replaced with a leather strap.
