I purchased this SEEYE 90% sun shade cloth for my patio, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both coverage and durability. The 10 x 10 ft size is perfect for providing ample shade over a seating area, and the dense 90% UV‑blocking mesh really makes a difference on hot, sunny days. It’s also versatile enough for other uses—I’ve seen it work well for plant protection, greenhouse coverage, and even as a temporary shade for a chicken coop, which makes it a more multifunctional option than some lighter, lower‑density cloths I’ve tried. Installation is straightforward thanks to the reinforced grommets on each corner, which make it easy to tie down or attach to hooks, poles, or ropes. The material feels strong and tear‑resistant, and it holds up well against normal wind and light rain. I ordered this shade cloth as a replacement for an older pergola cover that had worn out over time from constant sun exposure, and I’m really impressed with the quality of this one. First of all, the fit was excellent. It matched the dimensions perfectly and installed easily using the included grommets and ties. Everything lined up nicely, and the setup process was straightforward without needing any adjustments. The material feels strong and durable, definitely built to handle outdoor conditions. Compared to our previous cover, this one feels thicker and more resistant, which gives me confidence it will last much longer under the sun. I got the 12x10 Sun Shade Cloth to put up on the west side of my barn over a horse stall to shade it from the later afternoon sun and sunset here in Florida. The material on this shade is super high quality and heavy duty. It's a lovely, what I would call "beige" color even though the pictures on line make it look a little pinkish. The edging is folded over with a few layers of material making it super strong. The stitching also looks strong and one of the best things is that it has multiple grommets around the entire outside. The tarp comes with multiple lashing [fasteners] including heavy duty Zip Ties, small bungies and precut nylon hand ties [see picture]. With a little creativity and the variety of ties, this tarp is very versatile to install on the side of our barn, and likely in other places, without having to use a metal pipe frame. Directions and an inventory of parts come with it. I cannot speak to it's durability since we just installed it, but I'm guessing it will last a good, long time. Good product for a good price.
