I have wanted something like this for a long time for seeding specialty speeds in smaller cells than what is more commonly sold for seeding. These are really nice and as expected. I saw complaints that the dome doesn't fit, but that wasn't the case for me, it fits perfect for me. However, the drip tray is a little smaller than the seed tray and requires pushing down to fit which is a little disappointing but workable. If it fit in the bottom tray better, it would be a 5 star rating. ... show more

3 complaints, and a solution. 1. The seed tray doesn't fit the water tray around the corners so the seed tray sinks in the middle and the outer cells don't wick the water. 2. The cells only reach 1in down in the water tray, so you have to fill the water tray completely. This is awkward for the flimsy quality plastic. So fill and leave it because you're not moving it. 3. You can't reuse after 1 season because these symptoms get worse and the other reviews are right, because the plastic is warped the lid has gaps. It still germinates but between the middle sinking and the lid not fitting, your outer cells will need spray bottled daily. Solution. If you're commercial, either ditch the water tray all together for rack tray or pay some extra bucks for better quality plastic set altogether. ... show more

These flats worked out very well but you will be transplanting very quickly.They're good quality with the bonus of trays and domes.My only complaint is they sag in the middle so the center cells get soaked while the outer cells dry out.I propped up the center cells now they water evenly. Dome does not fit tray and the seedling insert does not fit the tray either, Total joke, the seeds need a somewhat sealed environment to maintain humidity levels.
