This was a great read. The characters were remarkable. The storyline was spot on. The twist in the plot gave it an edge. The ending was nice.

Sweet!!! Howl Worthy!!! Thad and Jayce's story is exciting, well besides the incident with involving Arron, that part gave me shivers... Thad, an rich Alpha playboy, sure gets a slap of reality when he meets Jayce.. He tries to impress her when he discovers she's his fated mate, but boy does he keep putting his foot in his mouth. It's cute yet maddening... Jayce is a strong willed woman and an Omega, she joins a shifter dating site but says she's a beta, the reason is because it's less of a hassle for her.. From a country girl to a city slicker, Jayce has no clue about whats about to happen. Danger will follow her when she keeps fighting the pull of her true mate. It turns downright scary when she meets another man (Arron) who is just plain psycho. Great read.. Full of action, adventure and steamy filled scenes no doubt.. This story hooked me from the beginning to the end. I read a lot of her books about "Omegas" and this was quite different in a very enjoyable way. I loved that Jaycee a omega moved to the city to get away from her overbearing father. Fresh out of college, she has an internship with a company and she listed herself as a beta on a dating app because she doesn't want to be chosen as a breeder, she wants to follow her dreams. Thad a older wolf shifter alpha answers her ad on the dating app. Thad is a playboy and only wanted a fun time and when they go on their date, Jaycee goes into heat and they have a night of passion. What happens next kept me turning the pages in this engaging story that I read and review. This is the second book in this series but it is a stand alone with steamy romance, drama, and action. ARC

Slow burn, slower pace paranormal romance. There really is very little backstory or fleshing out of the characters. Energy thing, be it the characters or the world, is very flat and shallow when it comes to the depth of knowledge given to us by the author. It has the kind of plot that leads to you believe that the intrigue and action is going to culminate into the climax of the story, but in actuality it is only a stepping stone within it. It almost leaves you feeling like there should be something more intense after the almost-dying event. The story kind of deflates and sputters. It is a very uneventfuland expected story thereafter.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I am reviewing an ARC copy. This shifter story is full of excitement, mystery and hot steamy moments. What I absolutely loved about the book is the way in which the author managed to create a whole new universe but in the same time keeping the specific traits of the omega genre. Thus the result is a good book and hot chemistry between its main characters and that would definitely make one's heartbeat rise, suspense, lots of action and of course a beautiful HEA that promise not to let one disappointed. So in other words this book has many elements that you could wish for in a book.
