I wrote a review saying that the cushion was too big for the foam. After placing 3 more foam inserts into the cover. I realize the the fit is much better. The instructions do state that it takes a day or so for the insert to fully inflate. That's true, the insert does fill out the cover in time. 😊

When I saw this, I thought this wasn’t the cushion I ordered. It comes compressed in a bag. But once I opened the box and took it out of the plastic, this blew up and turned into the nicest cushion I have ever had. This is thick and so comfortable. Not like the old cushion that I have been using that went as flat as a pancake. I like the straps that secures this, because they have buckles. Not cloth ties to hold this to the chair. Let these sit out and expand before using. I did have to sit on them to try them out but now I’m going to wait a couple of days so they can breathe and fully get to the size they are supposed to be. Right out of the box they were already bigger than any I have ever had. The cushion is made from memory foam. I’m sure it will last for a long time. This has a cover that covers the memory foam and it zips. So double protection. Then the cover is made of a thick well made material. It is substantial and will hold up for a long time. I got the 19 inch and I think I could have used the next size up. But this does fit my chair. I’m ordering more. I have been going through patio chair cushions for years and I have never been able to find the perfect one. I think I just found the one. I definitely recommend this cushion. I finally found my first cushion that fits and will give the support I need to be comfortable. ... show more

I got this gray chair cushion for an Adirondack chair on my deck. It fits it well, although the seat cushion overhangs the seat a bit. It is two separate cushions, one for the chair seat and one for the chair back. The chair seat cushion has really cool ties to attach it to the chair; the ties buckle and are adjustable rather than having to tie them. I have never had any problem tying the ties that need it, but sometimes, I have difficulty untying them as they tend to knot. The buckles eliminate that problem. I do wish the male and female parts of the buckle were on ties of equal size (the female part is on a shorter tie). I had some difficulty fitting the buckle between the slats on my chair, but the female end fit fine. It would have been easier to clip if there were more tie available on the female end. The cushion for the back of the chair does not have ties, unfortunately. Both cushions have a handle sewed onto them which is also a nice feature. When the cushions arrived they were vacuum wrapped in plastic and squished down to a relatively small size. When released from the plastic, the cushions (which are foam) inflated immediately; it didn't take time for them to resume their full size like it does with some vacuum wrapped pillows. They are also super comfortable. I'd say they were a medium firmness; cushy enough to be comfortable, but not so soft you can feel the boards of the chair beneath them. ... show more

When I got the box I was a bit skeptical, because the inner cushions were rolled and vacuum packed. It took more than a day for them to form fully, and they're still a bit rounded in the middle. The foam is firm and comfortable, but what I'm most impressed with is how sturdy the fabric feels. It feels pretty water-resistant as well, and the cushion inside the cover is also covered in a zippered plastic cover (be sure to not cut this open when removing the outer black wrapper!) which adds another layer of protection for the foam. Remember when measuring that the measurement is for the SEAT cushion, the second cushion in the pack is for the back of the chair, which will be slightly shorter. The cover is well made and well stitched, and I like how the stitching makes a little pocket for the end of the zipper, so the zipper pull isn't exposed. I am very pleased with the color. I ordered "spice", which to me is almost a paprika color. ... show more

First- these cushions are very comfortable. Sitting, I sink in a bit, but don't bottom out. I really like that there are no buttons, no bumpy-ness or feeling perched on top of the cushion. Second - they really are waterproof. I ran the faucet sprayer over one cushion as a test and the water just ran off or beaded up. So I left it out in the rain on the chair a couple of hours. It didn't even look wet, although wiping it did raise some tiny droplets. You wouldn't get soaked sitting on it unawares, let alone have to dry out a sodden cushion. Third - the workmanship and materials are top notch. I like the handle too. Finally - nice colors to choose from. At last, I've found the cushions I've always wanted! Be sure to watch the video of unpacking them. It's surprising and fun. Mine took overnight to totally loose the fold "bump". ... show more

This cushion set comes in a small box with the cushions rolled up like shrink wrapped pillows. You need to unwrap them and push inside the covers. Easy to zip up and the covers come with handles and buckles. Material feels fine but I won't know durability until rain season or extreme sun hits the cushion ... show more

I actually ordered these for an Adirondack chair rather than a conventional patio chair, and I'm glad I did. One cushion is a bit smaller than the other, and that's the one I sit on. The larger cushion I am using for the tall back of the Adirondack chair. It's amazing how much more comfortable my chair has become since I started using these cushions. The materials and construction of these chair cushions are first rate. It's not hard to get the foam cushions into the covers, and the zippers are extra sturdy and are very easy to fully close.
