The last time I went Snorkeling it was 30+ years ago. It was not a pleasant experience, could never figure out how deal with water coming into the snorkel. I had a recent trip planned for the Caribbean and wanted to enjoy the ocean. So I order this mask. I tested it, for the first time, on a beach worked great. Took about 15 minutes to get used to breathing in it, mostly me telling myself to relax. Then tried it at an aquarium where I went swimming with some dolphins. It was enclosed space with actual fish, which worked out great and booked myself on excursion to a coral reef. I saw people struggling with their snorkel rentals while we were out in the ocean...that would have been me. I had no issues whatsoever. I only really need to come up make sure, it wasn't time to leave. Some were complaining about the waves and dealing with water coming into the snorkel..not me! plus great visibility and comfort! Recently tried many. This one gives me a good amount of air, I can dive down with it without some little prong smashing up my nose, like the others, I can see without much distortion, doesn't fog in water, doesn't leak, even though it's a bit wide for me. This is a small and I have a more narrow face but there is plenty of room for large noses and even though I thought it would leak because it's not quite narrow enough it doesn't leak at all. I have to dive down frequently in the pool to pick things up, or clean, and never have an issue with it working. None of them give enough oxygen for me to exercise but this one has done the best so far and I can exercise the longest with it. It's design will keep someone from looking straight upright because air will not be sucked in easily nor can someone swim backwards easily. Air moves into the snorkel much easier when it is in the snorkeling position. ... show more

I sometimes do snorkeling in the lake, but I also use the mask to carry out a thorough cleaning under the rocks in my pool. The three main advantages of this mask are: 1. It is much easier to breathe than the first mask I had. 2. The fit is good and comfortable. 3. The viewing angles are superior to other masks I have used. Years ago when the full face snorkel mask came out I bought one thinking it was a gimmick. I liked it a lot but ALWAYS Hated the location of the breathing tube. I did not like it in the center of the top of my head. It was not a natural feeling. When I saw this one and noticed to side mounted breathing tube. I instantly bought it. I love love this snorkeling mask! I am an asthmatic and learned how to snorkel with a traditional mask & snorkel. Plus I can't swim. Last time I snorkeled was back in 1998! I went on a trip to Maui, I was in the water eith my fins & snorkel most days on that vacation. So glad that there have been advancements to the full face masks that I wanted to try it out to make my time playing in the water more enjoyable. Seaview 180 v3 did not fail me. For the last 2 days, I've been test-driving my v3 in my friend's pool before going on our vacation to Fiji. I even dove down a few feet to test the leakproofing - very pleased. Made my mind at ease. While I have tried several full face snorkel masks in the last 2 years. This one is the best so far. The air passage and CO2 buildup is a concern with all of then. What's good about this is the design of the air inlet and outlet which are almost double the width of the others. This makes the airflow easier and you don't start gasping for air after a few minutes. I think this is the best workable solution in the market right now. ... show more

This is absolutely the best full face snorkel I've purchased. Does not leak, has a wide field of view, is comfortable and I can breath much easier than any of the others I've purchased over the years. With all the others I've had experiences with the float in the tube hanging up when I would surface at times. If I had exhaled all my breath during a dive because the mask was leaking and I needed to purge it , if the float was hung I would have to take the mask off my face. That's not an easy feet when your in 14ft of water holding a bag of bay scallops, the current is strong and ;your trying to get a breath. So far the float on this one hasn't hung up. ... show more
