My husband loves the chair. It has lots of fun features, like cupholders, a tray, storage compartments, lights, etc. The chair is big and comfy and very soft, just what he wanted. But CEVA Logistics, the company Amazon hired to deliver it, ignored the instructions that it was to be left on our front porch. They just dumped the huge carton in our driveway and drove off. They didn't text us or call us about what time the truck was coming, either, even though they had our number. My husband had to drag the carton into our garage so that our homeowners' association wouldn't give us grief. There is no way to get anything that large into our house from the garage, because the washer/dryer room is the first room you come to, and it's a tight squeeze. We complained to Amazon and finally worked our way up to a very smart customer service rep who kept trying to contact CEVA with no luck and finally got permission to reimburse us when we had to hire a local moving company to put the chair on our front porch so that we could get it into the house through the front door. The whole back and forth thing with the Amazon rep took 5 days, but we got reimbursed as promised, and the chair is excellent. It was quite an adventure.

When the chair arrived it was well packaged and quite heavy; which gave me confidence that not only would it be value for money it should be in good condition. I put it together on my own (although getting it out the box would be easier if there were two of you) with no issues; try and get it situated correctly the first time because, due to its weight, I wouldn't want to be moving it around the room on my own. The chair is wide, supportive and very comfortable. In the reclined position it is a little longer than the other recliners I have owned, which is ideal for me, as I have suffered from "plantar fasciitis" in the past. I only bought one to determine if it was worth the money - it was! I am looking to move to a bigger home and once that move is complete, I will definitely be buying another. My only complaint is - that when it arrived, it had one very small flaw in the leather but since it was so small and in a place not obviously seen, I held onto the chair - to be honest, I'm not sure what the process would have been to return it, given its weight and the difficulty getting it out of its packaging.

I'm 6'4, 320 lbs and have a degenerative hip disorder and, thus far, this is the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. I've only had it for a few hours currently but it absolutely blew me away how much better I felt compared to my old chair. Generally after about an hour in most chairs my hip starts hurting and I have to readjust or get up to relieve the pain, but this one is just so nice I feel wonderful. Assembling it wasn't horrible, but bring a friend. Doing it yourself kinda sucks, and the flap that covers the back of the bottom of the chair constantly keeps you from seeing if the 2 tracks you need to line up pretty close to perfectly are anywhere near close, but having someone help would probably alleviate that issue . The back is really comfortable, but it's only connected to the base at 2 points and feels kinda flimsy when you put it on. As soon as you sit down, however, it feels great. You can barely tell that it was 2 pieces at one point. And the Leather feels great too. I personally use this for my computer chair and can't actually reach the keyboard or mouse due to the recline, but the tray table works perfectly for my mouse and I just have my keyboard in my lap. Overall, I've found most companies make things for either big people or tall people, but this chair actually works for someone like me who is both. I gotta admit, the price kinda turned me off at first, but if you've got the money it's well worth it.

All the features listed are great. It's easily the most expensive chair I ever own but on the the other hand is easily the most comfortable and featured packed one as well. I'm disabled so I spend most days gaming in a chair. The adjustable head is something I didn't know I needed in life. It beats putting a pillow behind the head by margins. My neck and shoulders feel amazingly supported. The only thing I wish I could change on the chair would be the foot rest to be a little longer and go a tad higher, then it would be perfect. Nevertheless, all the positives far out weigh this aspect. One thing that concerns me is most chairs in this class have 10 yr some life time warranties. I found no such warranty information anywhere. Also, one review caught she had a chair with a broken back after less then a year and claims the company won't respond or fix the issue. In fact, this point alone made me look past this chair. However, they offered me payments so it was my only option. I hope this chair stands the test of time. A $1,400 chair should last at least 10 years. If this chair breaks in a year or two, bet I'll be letting everyone know. The fact the chair is made out of wood no matter if it's reinforced or not further makes me concerned. Aside from these concerns I'd rate the chair at a 9.5, minus .5 for the foot rest not being high or quite long enough. I'd recommend this chair only if you can swallow the no apparent warranty pill.

After some research on home theater chairs I decided to get the Julius big and tall model with the loveseat configuration. These chairs are very modular and can be configured/expanded in a variety of combinations. Check out the Seatcraft website for dimensions and options. The chairs shipped 2 weeks sooner than they were supposed to. The delivery guys who were awesome, set them up in about 20 minutes. The quality of these chairs is amazing. The leather is so soft and high quality. The power recline is very smooth and quiet. They are so comfortable, I struggle to stay up to finish watching the movie to the end:( The led lights are awesome, but a little too bright for my liking, specially when the seat is reclined and the light is fully exposed. I had to contact customer support to get a copy of the user guide and they were very accommodating. I highly recommend these chairs and company to anyone who wants to setup the ultimate home theater in their own home.

I searched for a while looking for a oversized big and tall recliner. And this did not fail me. It has great features and deep storage capabilities. I love to light it up while watching a movie. The transportation was absolutely horrible, but I'm not going to base any of my review on that. I was really surprised on how high it sits. I actually have to lean a little to lay my arm/elbow on the arm rest. The seat should either be lower or the arm rests higher. I do like a supportive seat/lumbar, but this one is too stiff. I like to be able to sorta sink into my recliners to watch TV or sleep. Plus, it really doesn't recline enough to take a lot of pressure off my lower back. The recliner does have a wider seat & tall back, but when I recline my feet hang over. And, I'm only 5' 10". I do like the storage in the arms, the tray, USB port & LED lighting, but I don't think I'd recommend this chair.
