The cloth was good and thick. I would have preferred them to have some compression. The waistband is elastic. That being the only compression part gives the body a squeezed sausage look. The stitching wasn't the best quality. The scrunch is intense and flattering. These are good for an emergency like all your shorts are in the wash but defiantly not a first choice.

I loved the shorts once I took the tiny added band out of the waist. I ordered either large or extra large, it had an elastic band around the wait that could fit my daughter. But once it was cut out, they were great!

SHORT!!! Definitely does not cover your backside like the picture shows. And I don’t think I ordered the wrong size because they fit me fine, a teeny tiny bit loose oddly enough, they’re just super short. They’re great shorts to wear to bed if you don’t mind the cinched back giving you that feeling of a permawedgie, but definitely wouldn’t wear them out to the gym or hiking.

I'm actually really happy with these but I would go a size up otherwise half your butt cheeks won't be covered. Otherwise they are super flattering , they even work as swim bottoms. If you have a long torso they are not that high waisted. I bought large then reordered xl, was perfect
