I bought this psu to replace an old psu, a white 80plus.. I read a lot about severals psu, and I decided to buy 2 psu (a seasonic and a bequiet).. both platinum.. after the installation, I prefer 100% a seasonic's psu for the cables.. the flat cables are really better for cable management.. they have the perfect long.. the psu is shorter than others, so It helps to a better fit in any case.. ... show more

I'm a bit of a power supply snob, and I've owned dozens over my many years as a computer nerd. This is now my favorite yet. It's super quiet, compact, and has a great set of cables. There is even a shorter SATA cable with only two connectors, which makes sense given a lot of us are using NVMe drives these days and it feels weird when you connect a long cable with a bunch of connectors to one lingering SSD. Really great PSU so far. It's replacing an 850W EVGA T2 that is larger and good as well, but I decided to roll up a new PSU this year. It's driving a system using a 9900k, 1080Ti, full watercooling loop, and a couple of additional PCIe cards. ... show more

Came 2 weeks earlier then I expected (very thankful) Packaging was great, liked the little COVID letter that was included explaining material choices. Very simple and easy to install, I really appreciate that they DO include a tester. Bought this because the one I bought last month to replace an aged out one, was a complete disappointment.
