  • SO QUIET
I was so sick of hearing the fans going off in my computer all the time. I've loved having this. Way way better.

  • Silent and Weighty
I bought this silent titanium unit as part of a rehabilitation of an older system, for which I also replaced the case and graphics card. Overall the project went beautifully and I now have a silence focused system with better thermals than before. Since the case is double chambered, the rear chamber only contains the drives and this PSU. The chamber that contains the other hardware is much better thermally than before, which is likely due to the new case. The system is running so much better than before, and this PSU replaced an older Antec unit with ketchup and mustard cables. I loved that I was able to use fewer power cables and not have to store any excess in the drive expansion bays like before. While installing this PSU I was impressed at how much it weighed in comparison to the unit it was replacing. Minor unimportant issues: There were 2 minor <1cm scratches on the top of the PSU that exposed metal, and the metal Seasonic badge on the rear under the power plug and switch was not applied straight, so is slightly crooked. As this is in the rear chamber of the case, the scratches are irrelevant and the badge won't be regularly seen. Exterior packaging was really nice, though the printed silver foil finish was scrapped as if dragged on a dirty surface. Interior packaging was done well and felt mostly premium. ... show more

  • Couldn't be happier
Had a 500 watt Kingwin Stryker fanless Platinum rated power supply for about 6 years. Loved that P/S as it was fanless, silent, well built, and was conservatively rated (Output at 600w at gold rated standard). About six months ago it started to make humming/groaning noises when pushed and knew it was a matter of time before it got worse. Decided I definitely wanted a fanless P/S again and opted for Seasonic Prime 600 Titanium Fanless. Everything I loved about the previous P/S is present in this one and even more so as this unit is 600w, absolutely silent even on extreme loads (I am taking zero transformer or coil noise with ear up against it when loaded down). They cables are long enough for my Thermaltake Tower 900 case which is saying a lot, and my MSI RTX 2070 Armor oc runs perfectly. No question in my mind it could easily run an RTX 2080 ti or top of the line AMD graphics card as this P/S is efficient as all get out and is conservatively rated as well. The specs on this power supply are simply unreal (google the reviews). If you want the best you know what to do. A good, stable, efficient, top notch power supply is a necessity for any PC if you want to make sure your components inside will not have power or intermittent issues, and trying to save money on a P/S is not a good idea. The peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold. ... show more

  • Best available PSU of this wattage range
The PSU is next to perfect as far as I can tell. Completely silent with none of those high frequency noises you get sometimes. It does everything it's supposed to, so not much to elaborate on there. This is definitely on the expensive side for a PSU, but you are getting a higher quality component with a clean output that adds to system stability - especially if overclocking. Plus, better warranty, fanless operation, and 80+ Titanium efficiency which will save you (a small amount of) money compared to less efficient options. Some minor downsides to consider: Since the design is so open, they might have spent a little more time making the internal components a bit nice to look at, but most people have these buried in a case so I can't fault them too much for that. Documentation is a little sparse, but then again, it's just a PSU. Price ($200 for me) is a bit high. My biggest complaint is the included cables. Ugly and annoying to work with, but not worth deducting a star for. Most people who care about those things probably buy aftermarket cables anyway. I have this running an i7-8700K and 1080 Ti, both moderately overclocked. A quick note on wattage: PSUs are generally most efficient when operating at 50% of their max wattage. Aim to get one with a wattage twice your system's average consumption and at least 10% more than your system's max consumption. ... show more

  • So far, so good
The packaging and apparent design, attention to detail, and build quality are impressive. It (this is the 600W fanless) has been installed and powering a ~300 watt system for a couple days now without any issue. There were some reviews I read that concerned me (DOAs, bad RMA process, paid return shipping), but it will take time to determine if those are just flukes. I have layers of surge protection and an UPS that this will plug in to, so there will be no excuse for this unit to fail in any way. The modular design of this unit (Prime) is fantastic in cutting down on extraneous cables. I'm very much looking forward to the fanless-ness. I am moving from a laptop back to a custom build, and my biggest concern was noise. PSUs are typically one of the less-controllable noise factors because the fan is built in. The fanless design eliminates the PSU as a noise concern. It is a very open-air design. If you have environmental hazards, that could be a con. Otherwise, it's just good engineering. Bottom line, all indicators I can see so far point to it being well worth the price. If time proves otherwise, the review will be updated. ... show more

  • Perfect Silence - A must for quiet PC builds!
This is the best fanless PSU bar none. And being fanless it's completely quiet. If you read professional reviews, you'll know that this PSU has some of the best technical specs for an analog PSU. As a regular end user, I can say that it handles my 9900k and 2080 with mild overclocks with no problems. It also looks great and feels like a premium product. However, for all that praise, I am deducting 1 star for getting an initial dud. The PSU I got in my initial order worked fine, but had an really high pitched and noticeable coil whine after ~20 minutes of heavy load. Amazon customer support was excellent as always and helped me get an exchange. I'm happy to report that the new unit is totally silent. ... show more
