The suit itself is a thinner material, but thicker than a rash guard, not sure the warmth in the water. I purchased this for open water swimming in mountain lakes. It is well made, and vibrant colors. Easy to get on and off with the zipper and velcro. I feel very mobile in this based on the thickness. I am leaving this review as sizing was not as easy to deduce based on reviews and the sizing chart and I want to help out others. I will not deduct stars for sizing. I am 5'7 and 155lbs. An athletic build with a good sized rump. I ordered a medium based on everything I read. I feel I would order a small as the larger areas need to come down a bit. The armpits and chest area have extra material and the rump...as you can see from the side photo, the back does not accommodate for curves and instead comes straight up leaving a large gap. I think a smaller size would fix this. The length of the sleeves and legs were great, I am curious if the small will be too short in those areas. The stirrups seem secure to stay on while I swim with no boots, however I have not tried as I know the overall fit is a little large. I gave a 4 based on the issues with the curves fit. I am hopeful a smaller size/tighter fit will aid with the fit of the curves. I hope this helps the next person.

Fits perfect I am 76” tall and 250# I would say they run a little large my bust is 51” but you want a wetsuit to be snug loose spots create cold spots. This is also the first wetsuit I’ve worn that has a comfortable neck that doesn’t choke me. I wouldn’t say this is a lifetime investment but it is reasonably priced as I am still working on my weight loss journey and needed an intermediate solution.

This suit is excellent for spear diving and snorkeling in the Bahamas and Caribbean. It’s lightweight and easy to put on. Protects me from jellyfish. I’m 5’2”, 125lbs and wear a small. I actually bought a second one bc my husband washed my first one out and didn’t use clothes pins to secure it to the lifelines, and it blew away. Not a happy discovery! I think I’m going to reset the elastic loops around the feet and hands bc they are too loose, but they are not a deal breaker.
