We were reluctant to buy without trying, but gave it a shot based on the great price. Very glad we did. It arrived quickly and expanded as soon as we opened it. We had it on the bed in a matter of minutes. Had heard some complaints about other foam mattresses needing to air out, but this one had no odor beyond the typical new mattress smell. We are using this on a set of twin bunks and it seems to work fine on slats, at least for kids and lighter weight adults. We got a traditional foam and spring Sealy from a local mattress store for the second bed because we wanted some versatility, but it's hard to beat the ease and comfort of this mattress for the price. I'm not sure how anyone would go about returning this if they didn't like it -- it's very compressed and tightly rolled and I don't think it would be easy to recompress it by hand to get it back in its box. An unexpected benefit is that it's much less bouncy than a traditional coil mattress, so our kid does less crazy jumping. ... show more

I bought this mattress for a guest bedroom daybed. One guest loved it and decided they must enjoy a firmer mattress. Another guest complained it was too firm and they woke up sore. So, it's subjective. However, for the price and height (I needed an 8 in mattress) it was great! I'll probably purchase a egg crate shell for guests that would prefer something softer. ... show more

Wanted and needed a mattress not greater than 8 inches thick to accommodate the loft. This mattress far exceeds expectations. Excellent support with just the right amount of plush. Gently cradles your body. Minimum new mattress foam smell. Filled out within a couple of hours of being unwrapped. No fiberglass as was mentioned in reviews of other mattresses of this type. Got this mattress in twin for my 6 yr old. Definitely a better mattress for his back than his old spring mattress. He sleeps better and and straighter and doesnt seem as uncomfortable anymore. He actually wants to go to bed now and doesnt ask to sleep on couch anymore. Wasnt worried about a box spring cause his bedframe is the bunk bed type but he sleeps on lower bed which it fit perfectly for. We waited a few hours after taking it out of the package, just to make sure the foam had flurred up all the way. Was pretty neat watching it foam up into action after unrolling it from the wrap that was around it. U can notice after a few hours the cover over it fits more the more it foams out. My husband and i sleep on an expensive Sealy firm, foam and gel mattress ordered from Sears - this mattress almost feels just like it. After purchasing ours he wanted one like it as to why we tried this. Glad we did and got it on sale around Christmas. Not sure why some reviews said this mattress was not firm. I think this mattress is way firmer than the memory foam mattress i seen at walmart. Glad we didnt buy that one. ... show more
